Lift With Intensity

it must be curls. 236 of them. imagine the pump bro!

N, LOL, totally. Unfortunately I couldn’t even have pulled of an extra 189 steps, if I had to walk that far to leave my gym.

Session was SOLID. Squats felt fantastic. Bench was easy. Dominated this bitch. The key is to way over eat mexican food 1-2 hours prior, so that you still feel on the verge of vomiting the whole time, but pushing through it. It’s broscience. Has to be.

Happy Veterans Day

Training with a fellow powerlifter tomorrow, I’m teaching him the little bit I know about Sheiko, and he’s going to run it for a while. Strong dude, 242 lifter, 440/395/585 the last meet (the one I did in September).

Should be good times

Do you have shoulder or elbow problems? I only ask because moving your hands in a little closer to your body on the squat might help you. If it hurts too much, ignore me.

Strong lifting, and Happy Veterans Day!

Not really, I usually start with them wider because my shoulders aren’t warmed up at first, and then I never really think to bring them in. I’ll try that next session, and see how it works.

Thanks. It might help me be able to keep my elbows down more as well, right?

Yep. Turning those elbows down will really help create a stronger shelf and keep the upper back tight.

I was focusing on getting tight, and flexing my lats, but I think getting my arms in is actually a really good idea. Thanks man, looking forward to squatting again!

Just looking at all the volume in that latest session has me shuddering…I forgot how brutal sheiko was…

Haha, yeah man. It doesn’t look like much in the form of “how many exercises” but man, sheiko’s freaking multiple sets of multiple heavy compounds lifts. Shit’s hard. Shit’s AWESOME.

Looking forward to doing some deads tomorrow, and working on my form

If I may interject… Bringing your hands in while squatting is a really good idea in my opinion. For me, I bring them in as close as I physically can and still hold the bar (my forearms are longer than by biceps). I find that doing this and then driving elbows underneath and really squezzing the upper back makes a fantastic shelf and really enforces a good upright squat position.

Nice strong lifting on that last video buddy. I would say that based on the speed, 265 is not bad for your 80% squat days but you will need to belt up on days where they are triples rather than doubles. Bench looked good. Dont forget to squeeze those shoulder blades and transfer the squeezing to the ripping apart of the bar… if that makes sense lol…

It seems so obvious, I just never have done it regularly. I will next time though.

Thanks man. I don’t think I could have done any more, beltless. I think my bench form is not too bad, but i need to remember the pulling apart of the bar. I grip it good, shoulder blades are together and driven into the bench (I edited around my full setup, but I drive myself into the bench pretty good). I’m also starting to get the hang of and like using wrist wraps, so that’s still something I’m trying to perfect.

Thanks for the input, as it’s always appreciated. I don’t keep a log just for fun (although plenty of lulz are had in here), but I want to continuosly improve everything about my lifts and appreciate any and all help I can get.

Thabks for protecting my families Mang

I couldn’t be such a degenerate without you.

Aww! Rocky is so sensitive!

Nice lifting Ink! Lifts look strong and decisive. Could def take a cue from you.

Training with a fellow powerlifter sounds awesome! But isn’t Dixie going to get jealous? snicker

Btw, I thought of you last night…

When I dominated a full rack of BBQ pork ribs and then proceeded to slip the most ridiculous food coma. Good times!

Count, I do what I can man

Masch, thanks chica. My lifts are all starting to feel strong, especially todays session. You thought of me while consuming meat? Damn, I’m flattered  haha. Oh, and Dixie won’t mind (hopefully), I gotta ft strong enough to hang when LWI West Coast goes down.

Today’s session was effing awesome. Every single rep delt strong as shit. I was giving what pointers I could to my buddy about Sheiko and some form tips I could offer.

Week 2 Day 2

Deadlift to knees
14225
24275
44315

Bench
15145
25175
54205
Paused, of course

Deadlift
14225
14275

Form felt much better, pulled back, bar scrapes on shins, strong lockout, didn’t use straps. Everything felt “tits” LOL

BB Lunges

Threw in 4*20 face pulls mixed in with the lunges, for fun.

Feeling awesome after the session. Even stripped to my beater before deads and was like “shit, looking swole” haha.

Come at me, bro

Pic related, blurry, but related

Edit: My Gregron pose, lol
