Haha, it was hilarious Clax. My wife was like “You were running fast!” and I said “Yeah, it was a sprint” and she said “Yeah, I know, but it’s like you were in fast-forward!”
WINNING!
Elmore, thanks man, I hope so! I’d rather have a solid pulling day right now, so I’m good with it

HAHAH! I’m sure you supply endless lulz for the fam. Good times.
Def nice work pushing through whilst bloated and constipated. shrug It happens. As we say on the soccer team, you can’t play with a loaded gun.

How did the DLs go, my friend?
LOLOL, hilarious.
And uh, they didn’t. Had a shitty eating/feeling weekend, so just skipped out on everything. Lower back acted up yesterday for whatever reason, so I’ll try to get some pulling in tonight. Going to have to kill myself in the gym this week, to make up for the monsterous eating that’s about to happen. Probably be 230 come Saturday morning, LOL!
So, yeah…tonight’s session was absolutely disgustingly brutal. Seriously. Fucking death.

Deadlift to knees, then locked out. Thanks for pointing that out, arramzy…

Looked for ab wheel, couldn’t find it, come at me bro.
I felt like puking all session. Winning? Not so sure, haha.
Good work man. The pause at knee deadlifts are fricking difficult for sure. The idea is you pause at knee, then really practice putting the hips through hard. This an excellent exercise for enforcing the importance of keeping the bar close, not letting the back get too horizontal and then learning to finish with a really strong hip drive. Next time will be much easier! Oh and btw, you can mix up where you pause. For me, I really like pausing right at the patellar tendon but sometimes I will pausea bit higher like what you have done.

Thanks dude. Those were freaking hard as shit. Last set at 335 was like 1st rep, fight back puking, breathe, hold on…2nd rep, put the bar down, stand up, hold the cage for a while and recover, 3rd rep, down and stay bent over for 20 seconds seeing stars, 4th rep, while I felt the pause in my head…the pull looked like a solid grinder with no stopping point.
I see what you mean about the importance of keeping the bar close, because when it was (which happened every rep practically) out front at the pause, it makes the hip drive 10x harder than it should be. My last 2 sets @ 315, I had much better form and slid the bar up my shins, paused, and locked out smooth. Those last sets are going to be the goal for every set in the future. Thanks for the tips man.
Greg, LOL, I almost did it again this morning but another car pulled up behind mine, and they would have thought I was fleeing the scene of a crime I’m sure.

Training is looking good ink; when you going to try for 500 again?
Thanks man. I have no idea. I’m not going to rush that goal. When I make an attempt at it, I want to hit it with 3 whites. I want to be over 500 at my next meet at the end of March, but I’d really like to be there by the end of the year. So that’s what, 5 and a half weeks? Shit, Maybe I’ll try and pull a max at the end of the year to see where I’m at, and guestimate when I think 500 would fall.

I think I might try it closer to the end of the year as well with squatting heavy twice a week right now my lower back can’t really handle super heavy loads. So I might take one of those days out and do it on dec 31

My goal for 500 just became 5 weeks and 2 days
Hahaha, you asshole!
I suggest we have everyone in the “race” try a max pull 12/31 and see where we’re at then.

I might be out of town… we can just say pull a max at some point this year up till 12/31.
Plus if I pull below 500 on like 12/29 I can claim those 2 days were why I didn’t make it.
Ok, so a “Where’s everyone at by the end of the year?” then. And dude, I would do the same thing as you, lol
I will be in on this little contest. I have a scheduled skills evaluation on the 30th of December so I will totally compete! Good luck on your first 500 pulls guys!
