Nice lifting man, way to treat those weights like a bitch. You showed em’ whose boss!
amazin’ stuff ink
Glad to see a fellow sheiko follower! Nice work so far! If you intend to be in this for the long haul, I think you might want to exercise more restaint in your training. As you might have noiced a couple weeks ago when you hit the squat PR, maxing ruins the next session. Especially if you want to run higher level cycles, going over the prescribed usually ruin the cycle in my experience. I’m not a huge expert, but I have had a lot of success with sheiko. At any rate, good work and I hope you keep with it!
Paused pause is paused
AC and phlegms, thanks bros
Arramzy, thanks for stopping in and giving some advice. I know better than to push farther than the prescribed, I just had to get it out of me last night. I’ll definitely contain myself for the future, as I have no intention on jumping off Sheiko anytime soon. Thanks again man.
Clax, see? I told you. It hurts a little (emotionally) to pause a little longer at first, but then it makes the PRs feel that much better. You’ll get there ![]()

That’s all it takes! I actually tend to pause most reps longer than that, but since it was a big PR for me, I tried to get it off my chest as soon as it stopped. Don’t hate, appreciate.

Thanks Guys. Family “stuff” has gotten much improved, so I’m more stress free in that regard, and am going to be taking on more stuff at work next week, as another upper level guy is moving on so I’m handing both “jobs” in one. Dealwithit.jpg
Had a nice, restful, weekend where the only training I did was staying on my feet for 5 hours pouring upwards of 1000 beers at the Oktoberfest. I told my wife that I want a kegerator at home now, lol. Watched many drunken idots stumble around and it reminded me of my younger days, LOL.
Starting another week of Sheiko tonight, which most likely includes squatting and benching ![]()
LWI my friends
Glad to hear shit is settling Brother, looking forward to seeing you get unbearably strong with another cycle of Sheiko!
How many pounds is that?
The Hubby’s is 60, I believe and I can barely budge the thing.

Right now it’s 62#, and I can draw it back without too much effort. I don’t need to “pry” it back or anything. My wife can’t budge it. Once you get it past the “peak” though, you could hold it for a while. That’s the joy of compound bows. If my wife decides she wants one, I’ll pick her up the Hoyt Ruckus, which is technically a youth bow, but it’s the right size (she’s 5’3") and adjustable up to 40# (I think) which, at her draw length, would work great. She wouldn’t hunt though, just target shoot.
It’s not about how fast the bow shoots though…it’s about how accurately you can place your shots!
ECCENTRICLESS TRAINING!!!
btw awesome pic
