Sheiko 5 Week Comp Cycle
Week 1 Day 3 *I decided to keep on track with the set workouts, despite being behind a few days. I was worn out, and not having to work either day this weekend drove me into full on “LAZY MODE”, so that’s what I’ve been doing with that. This week I’m getting last weeks last workout in (below) and then this week’s stuff starting tonight and tomorrow, to get me back on track. Should be interesting, as tomorrow’s session will be skills eval, working up to 90% single in all 3 lifts, after training yesterday and tonight. Problem?

I’m actually starting to like benching, probably because I feel more comfortable with my setup and I am actually progressing. I guess benching 3x a week will do that though :wink:

bench and squats looked good. I bet it’ll help out in your next meet that you’ve been doing more than 1 of the big lifts almost every day. That has to have some positive carry over.

No doubt. I’ve PR’d lately, so I know the frequency of hitting the “big 3” is working for me. I’m gunna ride this wave until it hits the shore, brah

All this volume must be doing wonders for your form in the big lifts. Noticed any big changes in that regard?

Phlegmy, yeah dude, I actually think my bench form is 1000% better than it ever was before, and I’m hitting depth on my squats easier while feeling tighter throughout. Hard to judge the deadlift since I haven’t done much of it. That’s the only downside to Sheiko I think, but we will see how I’m doing tomorrow, on skills evaluation day

Like I said, feeling beat up today. I think tonights session might kill me, but if not…I’ll have beat my last meet total by 35ish pounds, and that’s running up to 90%. I’ve been eating a lot, to try and recover as much as possible the last couple of days, and I think it’s helping. We’ll see what happens!

Last nights session, all things aside, was fucking perfection. I’ve had some family stuff to dealwithit.jpg right now, and it’s hard, to be honest. I had to channel everything I had to go deep into rage-mode, and SFW last night. SFW feels so good sometimes, you just can’t help but pull the beanie a little lower and push yourself harder than what’s “prescribed”. 90%? Sure, but I want a PR…so…what do you think is gunna happen?
