It’s occurred to me I could start going to the gym twice a day. I train fasted in the morning so could do a second “feeder?” pump type workout after work in a non fasted state. Will think on this some more.
Andreas Calhing I recall did an interview with Ric Drasin several years ago, I which he said he would sometimes train a body part in the morning, then return 8hrs later to train it again, he said he would almost always have a better workout the second time around. Probably riding a metabolic wave of sorts.
Maik Wiedenbach talks about training the same muscles 2x a day here aswell, the first workout being more just a primer of sorts. Food for though

I briefly worked out at a place that had 15+ racks and platforms and all bars and plates (non comp) were eleiko. $100 a month for a basic membership made it short lived.
Mr Pr is 200kg x 8, I think I’ve said before, I may actually be doing a floating Deadlift not in fact a strict Rdl, but it certainly hits my Hamstrings good.
I was thinks more along the line of just getting a bit of a pump in the muscles I’d trained in the morning to get some blood through them to aid recovery and add a little more volume.

Was due to do legs today. I got a last minute physio appt to have my shoulder looked at, but was also able to discuss my knee issue. He’s a much more sports oriented practitioner and powerlifts himself. Whilst there he checked my Deadlift form and said it was awful and not to Deadlift again til he’d addressed it.
Might just skip legs for a while and see if it helps my knee settle down.
Enjoyed today’s push session, doing some isolation exercises first, really helped me feel like I was hitting pecs and delts on the compounds rather than my Triceps giving out.

It’s one of those things where I don’t know if he’s saying that to get me to book more sessions or if it is really bad! Should probably post a form check up here first. He does come highly recommend and does alot of work for the city’s professional rugby team.
Hah, yeah! Hard to know for sure, I suppose. I’m wondering, “Just how bad is ‘awful’ such that he recommends stopping?” Can it really be that bad!?!
I don’t think it’s terrible, not got injured yet, and another trainer who coaches olympic lifting has said it is fine.
You might not be sure what you’re doing but you’re doing a lot of it.
It’s possible that may be the cause of my knee and shoulder pain. I’m going to have a few weeks off training legs and see if my knee improves.

Any recent vids of you deadlifting taken from the side ?? What did he specifically say was wrong with your form ?? You are pulling some serious weight for someone who can’t do it properly. Lol
He’s a bit of a movement pursuit I think, said I wasn’t hip hinging properly, and didn’t have my shoulders fully retracted.
