Might have to become a strong man or equipped powerlifter just to justify all the eating.

Split up with the missus on first day of holiday, she went home yesterday, so have no one to moan about me going to the gym whilst away. My mum is down here too and more than happy to spend a few hours spoiling her granddaughter.

Fantastic facility far more machines that any gym I’ve ever been in, 8 racks, 8 platforms, every conceivable cybex plate load machine, weird inertia cable systems and a sauna. Will go back Friday.

Forgot to mention, they have a Deadlift bar at this gym. I’ve never used one before so might be setting a Pr on Friday. (unlikely though judging by how hard I found 240kg last time)

Sory to hear of your troubles, hopefully anything works out well for yašŸ‘

A texas bar can take a few workouts to get used to, but once you get used to it you’ll never wanta deadlift again without it.

I’m hoping this will be an end to my troubles, it’s been a long time coming.

My gym at home has just got some new bars, I thought initially they might be Deadlift bars cause they are black and very thin, but they seem incredibly stiff, do they get more flex over time?

Ah, must be a power bar, yeah its stiff alright. The texas bar bar is thin, has a good wip and super aggressive knurling.

We have some of those bars at the gym, used one the other day and it was stiff as. Didnt like it so wont be using it again.

I love DLing on a power bar for a while and then DL on a deadlift bar. Feels so much easier.
