Going to steal some ideas in here to see if I can get my deadlift out of the pitiful range. Thanks for sharing your info.

Just lurking you, emskee. I’m not all that tough, but it’s really fun to see people who are.
I’d love to have a great beard and a daughter who lifts with me. I may eventually get one of the two.

For your sake, I sure hope it’s not the beard.

When my Aunt Mary got older, she had a bit of a goatee, so, yeah, sure, maybe.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m not all that tough either. Maybe we could start a club!

You got something against my Aunt Mary?
Sorry, that sounded tough. I’m not tough.

Wow, your Aunt Mary. So many things to look forward to about the aging process!
I looked up Tough in the dictionary and it said “Anybody with a 600 lb DL.” So…

Yes, so many, many things…
And, oh, okay, I guess no club then.
I offer a post which I recently read. “BTW, such a strange coincidence. I don’t yoke walk often, but when I do it’s always 900 lbs. ;)”
Explain that? “Anybody with an occasional 900 lbs. Yolk Walk” may not be in your dictionary, but maybe it should be.

That’s all true. What I didn’t say is that I was 5’8" before I did that yolk walk. Now I’m not quite 5’2". ![]()
I just wish I had a video. The phone camera always seems to fail when I do something really impressive.
I’d do it again, but I don’t want to end up 4’6".
I’ve always wanted to be shorter so I’ll have to try me some 900 lbs yolk walks. Oh by the way I got those videos up.
My Aunt Mary was 5’2".
Anyway, I’ve always wanted to be taller so that I could show up late for parades and still see what was going on.
Alas…

Just reading 480 x 12 makes me tired. You’ve got me thinking about trying something similar, just because.

It makes me happy to know that I am good for something.
Seriously, I enjoy your visits and I respect you as I see you through your log.
I think I have a reasonable chance of reaching a 600 lb. pull but I don’t hold out any hope that I will ever be able to do 480 every minute for 12 reps. Very motivational work emskee.
Many happy decimals to you. Do you have a Harley to go with that beard?

I betcha can. The first 2 weeks I do the every half minute on the half minute. Those blow. When I get to the EMOM weeks it’s like a vacation.
Have fun whatever you do.
