I went to Wrestlemania last night! YEAH BABYYYYYYY!! And the best part? I got FREE tickets!
THe main event was awesome, it’s so good to see Benoit win, that guy has worked so hard and for so long and lord can he wrestle…
I can’t wait for next month’s PPV, it’ll probably be Benoit vs micahels in Edmonton.
And:
a) Edmonton is benoit’s hometown. Think he’ll be cheered?
b) it will be michels’ first match in Canada since that little fag screwed Bret Hart. THink he’ll be booed?? He may need a police escort to get into/out of the building
And now he’s been cut by the Vikings, with less than a 50% chance of being picked up for their practice squad. He might get a shot in NFL Europe.
So much for all the NFL experts on here (Sonny S.) saying the guy would have any game whatsoever.
The guy will be back in the WWE within 18 months, or whenever his $$ runs out. Whichever comes first.
—I said he has potential, which he does, and was signed by the Vikings. He lasted all of training camp w/ the Vikings, so he did have enough game “whatsoever.”
Will he make it as a regular in the NFL? I doubt it, but NFL Europe next spring- if he does it- will be the litmus test. If he gets manhandled over there for an entire season, I think he’ll call it quits.
I was rooting for the guy as he is a real character in real life and in wrestling. I think if he does a year on NFL europe it will do him good, he pretty much got right out of the WWE and within a few months went right to the NFL without any football experiance for years. He definatly has the strength and he has remarkable speed for a guy in that position/weight. As far as WWE goes i remember heairng on ESPN that The owner of WWE (Vince Mcmahon?) said that he is welcome back, so who knows what hes gonna do.
