Either way, all of these indignant responses to his ramblings accomplish nothing more than bringing a smile to his face.
so now fake wrestling is a real sport?

sports are competitive. are you going to tell me that pre-planned outcomes = competition?

and i just call it like i see it. if it pisses you off cry about it. i still think that benching 150 lbs 10 times is laughable, especially when a reporter says the guy “really ripped it up.”. it’s funny like a kid bragging he can pull a tricky move on a skateboard and then busting his ass.

and i don’t think fake wrestling is real. fake is never real.

hell, they even had a reality show where aspiring fake wrestlers trained, learned how to be thrown so the thrower doesn’t actually have to throw, they learn how to land, how to take cues to know which move to expect etc.

it’s fake. it’s not a sport. that is a fact.

you can debate their athleticism all you want, and i would agree that pro wrestlers are strong individuals, but their profession is not athletics. it’s acting.

either way, the “it’s not a real sport” comment was to explain that i think they are juicing for show and get away with it because there is no sports commission testing them.

that is all. if others want to look deeper in to it, so be it, but their sensitivity is not my problem.[/quote]

Texasguy, I think you and IrishMuscle would make a great couple.

bauer, i don’t swing that way. but if being a faggot is your thing, more power to you. for now though, your fantasy will have to remain a fantasy.

i’d be grumpy too though if i knew deep down that my favorite sport wasn’t really a sport and that my favorite athletes were not really athletes. at least not while participating in the WWE. so i can understand your feelings even if they are stupid.

This is very easily the dumbest discussion ever.

Blasphemy. This is obviously no more than number 5 or 6 in a list of 5,600,756 dumb threads. Doesn’t “obese guy lifting backyard debris for toughness” beat “look how huge Brock Lesner is!”?

Texasguy’s posts alone almost put it over the top though. I personally give it a 3.2 on a sliding scale.

Allow me to make it even dumber. The Junk-Yard Dog could take them all down. Or Hillbilly Jim.

nuh-uh

bodybuilding’s fake! You already know what’s going to happen because it’s predetermined. I could tell you what happens at the next olympia if I saw the last one, it’s something like this:

Guys come out on stage and flex in countless positions which are PRE DETERMINED!!!(FAKEFAKEFAKE) Then they all have their own individual time to pose (predetermined AGAAAAIN!) and then they have the challenge round. So therefore since professional bodybuilders use steroids, and it’s predetermined, it’s FAKE.

Is there actual debate that World Entertainment Wrestling is fake?

Its a soap opera stunt show.

Exactly what I’ve been saying.

The reason I even responded is because I get annoyed by people who disrespect the hard work the wrestlers do by simply saying “Its fake”, as though that makes it something easy that anyone could do.

Texasguy did say he respects them for that, so I left it alone.

I think most people with such distain for wrestling for being “fake” still think its sold as being “real”; which, at one point, it was. But nowadays, the fact that its all choreographed is a well known and little hidden fact.

I actually wasn’t immediately jumping to thoughts of you and your equally annoying IrishMuscle counterpart having gay sex with each other, but I’m glad to see where your head’s at. I was more thinking you’d just enjoy each others company, since I can’t imagine anybody else does.

I also must have missed where I said WWE wrestling is my “favorite sport”. You’re a moron, and a moron who has yet to espouse even a single bit of worthwhile training advice on this site. Keep on trolling.

He used to be much leaner.

I don’t understand why WWF/WCW/WWE is even surfacing at this point, when the guy is now doing actual fights.

As for the topic - he’s not big by bodybuilding standards(his height makes him look larger than everything else there) but quite big for a fighter. And I see no problem with that.

You’ve been here long enough. You should realize that after the first page all threads become universal in content.

PS- Does anyone know when and in what promotion Lesner will be fighting again?

It was a one fight deal, so he’s a free agent and about to make a lot of $$ for far less work than in the WWE.

Which is why I don’t need your patronizing, thank you. And although many threads do have that tendency it is not the case with ALL threads and it certainly doesn’t mean it should be accepted. The best threads have no trouble staying on the subject or expanding on it.

Considering who his opponent was originally (the giant guy), he was taking a chance in regards to future purse money by signing a one fight deal.

It should pay off now though.

What do others think, will Zuffa try to sign him? You have to think that most UFC fans were originally WWE fans.

Agreed. I was just messing with you.

On topic-

Did you see the fight? Any thoughts on Brock’s performance and/or prospects?
