LeBron James Hate Thread

He’s a basketball player, man really, you let a guy who’s playing a game, infect your life’s so much?
So much wasted energy haha really figure it out.

We all change jobs, move, start new business, make descions in our life that are Best for us. Why can’t he? Who are we to judge?

Whoever said athlete’s are the best role models and why would you put them there??

By the way he’s a sic athlete and baller, if he wins it all, more power to him.

I def think he don’t care what we say or think about him! haha

What should I do, buy a ticket to cheer him or boo him, well he wins both ways, it’s entertainment!

The very fact that your even talking about him is a win for him!

But what do I know, I’m Canadian, ask me about hockey! haha

MJ did have all the players you mentioned, but also Pippen. Rodman was one dimensional, a 7 time all NBA defensive 1st team and 7 time rebounding champion kind of one dimensional. I make no excuses for Lebron’s arrogance, or his ‘‘decision’’ debacle. My point is simply that he didn’t quit, he just realized that it was impossible to win when after 7 years the best the Cavs could give him was Mo Williams. Thats it. I agree with everything else wholeheartedly. But can we agree that as long as he didn’t have a legitimate no 2 he wasn’t going to win a title in Cleveland?
Yes, but one player away is hardly a reason to do what he did. Can you recall another franchise player leaving in his prime to go play with other superstars, as opposed to leaning on management to get him help?

No way that was intentional. There was a towel on the ground and while walking he half heartedly tossed it to the side. He didn’t try to hit that woman.

And the LeBron one just looked like some minor miscommunication.

Is that Alison Brie in your avi?
Yeah, man. On the strength of her hotness I tried to watch Community. Not my kinda show.

APPROVED.

Well, let me put it out there…this 60 win season argument is exaggerated. Playoff ball is a different game and a different season altogether. An 80 game season is a grind and you’re just not going to ever come close to playoff ball except for some key games and when teams are battling for meaningful playoff seedings. So let’s get that out of the way.

As for his decision to leave, I’m ambivalent about that. He was a free agent in his rights to do so, but as I said earlier, “the decision” was bullshit and the way he hung out his team and keeping them from getting compensation for him was bullshit. And, does anyone recall another franchise basketball player leaving his team in his prime to conspire with another superstar to cherry pick a team? All the franchise players I can recall hung in there and demanded help.

As for where he went…it was a poor decision. If he wanted championships, he should have went to Chicago like someone else said. They’d be contending this year.

Bottom line…the kid gets bad advice and is probably a bit lacking on character.

As for the posts saying we are wasting energy hating him, gimme a break. The whole god damn forum is a waste of time…it’s entertainment and we’re talking here like we’d talk down at the bar…except we’re typing. Don’t think one of us is losing sleep over LeBoor…but you’re mistaken about one thing…he cares what people think and he IS losing…losing fans, and ultimately, losing money.

I thought depending on yourself is best. Wilt left, but his role in the trade isn’t as clear. In the end, it was his legacy and he should look out for himself if management doesn’t. However he was special to Cleveland in a way most stars will never be and the way he bitch slapped them on the way out was unforgivable.

Actually I hated LeBron James and I didn’t really know why since I hardly follow basketball anymore. Perhaps it was due to videos like this and stories about how he doesn’t tip well (maybe that was one story, and maybe that was fabricated too). Anyway all of this is a slant, fueled by the media, I am seeing what they want me to see. For reasons related to my personal life I am viewing these guys to have massive levels of pressure, far greater than I am at currently so I’m choosing to think twice before judging a sports star so quickly. That’s all. Carry on.

Knew it would all end in tears when dude gets a 70 mil shoe endorsement before even playing a minute of pro ball. Product of his time.

When MJ was at the top of his game, I was going through some real tough times. I used to watch MJ and escape reality for a little while. I ain’t kidding when I say Michael really helped me get through that shit.

I am older now and figure that my heroes have already defined who I am.

Jame’s shaking hands with Celtics having being blown out. That was sad man. Very sad.Imagine Michael doing that?

It was actually $90 mil. Jordan respected the game, and when he got beat he took it like a man. When James gets beat he cries, points fingers and starts chunking motherfuckers under the bus. Jordan never - NEVER - had anything handed to him, especially early in his career. James has had people catering to his every wish since he was a sophomore in highschool. He does’t know how to work hard 'cause he’s never had to. He always just expected “it” to get done, and when “it” didn’t he blamed everyone but himself. Heexpected that his new team would just waltz through the regular season on their way to several titles. At the very first sign that work was involved and it wasn’t gonna be as easy as he anticipated he started publicly blaming the coach. If it continues, he will start pointing fingers at the other 2 of the “big 3”. I called it in last years NBA thread, and I stick by it. The kid is a world class spoiled prima donna.

He has the talent, but it wasn’t put together, look, I’m not defending his Miami choice, only his choice to leave. He’s playing with two stars who do not complement him. Wade is basically a smaller Lebron, and Bosh is softer than Charles Barkleys physique circa 2010. If he was smarter he would have gone to chicago and played with a real point guard in Rose and had Noah playing defense and not giving up as many points as he scores like Bosh does. This Miami team was thrown together wth no regard for chemistry or playing styles and I will be glad when they flame out to Boston/Magic
Excuses, excuses, excuses. You were making excuses for why he didn’t win in Cleveland and now with 2 other superstars, you’re making excuses for him of why he’s not winning in Miami. Lebron won’t win a title until he matures and learns what really takes to be a leader.

Wilt is the WORST example to use. The funny thing is, in so many ways, Lebron reminds me of Wilt and that is NOT a compliment.

This media slant thing is taken too damn far. Yes you should have a critical eye towards anything media related. Yes sometimes there are “slants”. But to just dismiss it “all” when there has been a LOT of articles written about a LOT of different circumstances that are pointing our character flaws and behavioral issues after awhile you just can’t dismiss it all as “media slant”.

Its not an excuse, unless you really believe any player in the NBA today could have won in Cleveland with the team he had. It wasn’t his fault he lost in cleveland, it is his fault he will fail in Miami. As I said before, I only defend his decision to leave. I never defended his decision to try and take the easy way out by teaming with both Wade and Bosh. It was stupid because Wade is basically a clone of him and they do not complement each other and Bosh is soft. It was his stupid decision to turn his departure into a spectacle and his decision to go to Miami. His fault, no excuses.

I think its safe to say responding to arguments and just attacking character is pretty lame. You never answered, do you think anyone could have won with the team LeBron had in Cleveland? Give me one example of someone who did win with that kind of talent. Thats it. One example. If you can’t back your claims up except with deflections and dismissals who really doesn’t know what they’re talking about?

Just wanted to check in an say I hate Lebron James.
