What exactly is your proof that Lebron doesn’t know the concept of hard work and he has had everything handed to him? Wilt Chamberlain was far more dominant in his time than Lebron has ever been or will ever be and he only won 2 titles in 14 years. MJ won 6 while being surrounded with talent that Lebron never came close to having. If you want to equate Mo Williams and the ghost of antawn jamison with Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen then its clear your dislike for Lebron lacks any sense of logic.

Nobody could have won titles with Lebrons supporting cast. Give me one solitary example of a player who won a title with the piss poor level of talent James had. There’s a difference between quitting and simply realizing that playing with an undersized ragtag group of castoffs will never yield a title. I agree that he is arrogant and ‘‘the decision’’ was pathetic, but leaving was the right thing to do.

I would have preferred Chicago, I’m still not convinced playing with Wade and an overrated softie pretending to be a 4 is better than playing with Rose and Noah on an actual team that has depth and chemistry. After a certain point trying the same thing over and over again becomes pointless and thats what Lebron realized. He waited 7 years, what was he supposed to do? Wait till his career is more than half over and he is no longer able to physically dominate to move?
First off, no one is talking about Wilt Chamberlain so I don’t know what you’re trying to do there. Second, the Cavs had THE BEST RECORD in the league two years in a row. They clearly had the talent to get it done. Calling them “piss poor” shows you don’t know what you’re talking about. Your examples are absurd and make no sense.

My proof that he doesn’t know what hard work is is by reading what others in the game say about him and by WATCHING him play and listening to what he says. He left Cleveland 'cause he couldn’t get it done and jumped to Miami claimimg they’d win up to 7 titles. Keep in mind he only signed a 6 year deal. That sounds like a guy who assumes that by just rolling the ball out with his new surrounding cast they’ll win, without really having to work for it.
Look at his team now. Compare that to how the Lakers play without Kobe. Who gives a fuck about regular season records beyond playoff seeds? Look at the Sacramento Kings of a few years ago or the Phoenix suns or Mavericks just recently. They would pile on the regular season wins but never won a title. Have you stopped to think that maybe Cleveland won in spite of Lebron’s teammates and not because of them? He made them better, period. How can Lebron win one single title as long as he is playing with Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison and Delonte West when he has to go up against Garnett, Rondo, Allen and Pierce, and if he got past them would get to face Kobe backed by the best offensive big man in the league in Gasol, Lamar Odom, and Ron Artest. Please, tell me you believe he could have won against those teams. Of course no one will mention Chamberlain, it would kill the whole argument about quitting because it shows what happens when a dominant star lacks an adequate supporting cast. Is it any coincidence he didn’t win till he left? Kobe didn’t win without Shaq or Gasol. Wade had a still dominant Shaq and MJ had Rodman and Pippen. If Lebron’s team was so good why where they so terrible without him?

Precisely which example is absurd? Chamberlain? The fact that MJ himself needed stars to win? Point out the absurdity. Just because your dislike for Lebron hinders you from seeing the obvious connection doesn’t mean its absurd

LOL MJ had Horace Grant, Craig Hodges, Paxon, BJ Armstrong, Stacy King, Bill Cartright, Will Purdue, et als. FOH with that bullshit. Rodman was one dimensional and couldn’t score. MJ had Pippen and still had to face a damn near all star team out west and other formidable teams. Stop making excuses for this bitch LeBron. He had every right to leave…that’s his choice. But stop making excuses for him. At best, you might argue he needed one more piece…a Pippen type player perhaps. Anyway, there won’t be any parade in Miami this year. Probably not next year either.

MJ did have all the players you mentioned, but also Pippen. Rodman was one dimensional, a 7 time all NBA defensive 1st team and 7 time rebounding champion kind of one dimensional. I make no excuses for Lebron’s arrogance, or his ‘‘decision’’ debacle. My point is simply that he didn’t quit, he just realized that it was impossible to win when after 7 years the best the Cavs could give him was Mo Williams. Thats it. I agree with everything else wholeheartedly. But can we agree that as long as he didn’t have a legitimate no 2 he wasn’t going to win a title in Cleveland?

STOP QUOTING EACH OTHER IMPROPERLY!!! TOO MUC WALL-O-TEXT!!!

He didnt quit? did you even watch the playoffs last year where he quit really playing mid game and couldnt get his jersey off fast enough after the game?

He knew it was impossible to win in Cleveland? You mean after their team had the best record in the NBA regular season two years in a row? Oh yeah its impossible to win.

You’re talking out of your ass

I meant quitting Cleveland in general. Last playoffs he quit, but I’m talking about all the other years. Again, REGULAR SEASON does not equal rings. If it did then Nowitzki would have bling. Look at any sport, not just NBA, if regular seasons mattered beyond getting into the playoffs then Phillies would have won this year, Ladainian tomlinson would have a couple rings and Tom Brady would have 4. The cavs were an undersized team that was fast enough to beat anyone during the regular season but lacked the defensive prowess and size to stop the Magic, Celtics and Lakers. Of the last 10 regular season winners, only 2 won the nba title. Refute that. Or are stats considered talking out your ass as well?

LOL… dont start backpedaling now about him quitting.

Regular season games are still W’s… they get a lot of those… but this goes back to James inability to lead a team. He chokes in the playoffs and if he doesnt choke he just quits on his team (just like he did last year and you admitted that)

you said that it would be impossible to win in cleveland and I pointed out how wrong you were. He did win in cleveland and he won a lot. you didnt say anything about him winning a title in cleveland (which we’ll never know about cause he didnt stay) Doesnt look like he’s gonna win a title in Miami this year either lol

Go back to my first post, I clearly state that I’m referring to winning a title. And I also clearly state that I meant quitting regarding an inability to win in 7 seasons, I never said he didn’t quit last playoffs or in an individual game.

Go back to my first post, I clearly say I mean winning a title. I also clearly state that I mean quitting in regard to leaving Cleveland, not last playoffs or saying he has never quit in a game. No backpedaling, and I agree, he will not win the title this year, as I said before, he doesn’t have a real team now either.

he doesnt have a real team now either??? Playing with two other ‘super star’ players… two other max contract players… two other Gold medal winning Team USA members… two other All Stars??

What kind of team do you want him to be on in order for you to consider it a real team??? LOL

James has an Opt out clause after three seasons in Miami… if they dont win a title (they definitely arent going to this year) in his second or third year then he’ll be out of Miami so fast on onto the next team.

He has the talent, but it wasn’t put together, look, I’m not defending his Miami choice, only his choice to leave. He’s playing with two stars who do not complement him. Wade is basically a smaller Lebron, and Bosh is softer than Charles Barkleys physique circa 2010. If he was smarter he would have gone to chicago and played with a real point guard in Rose and had Noah playing defense and not giving up as many points as he scores like Bosh does. This Miami team was thrown together wth no regard for chemistry or playing styles and I will be glad when they flame out to Boston/Magic

I think we agree on that… but James wont go to Chicago and be in Jordans shadow every day… who would want that?

I think all the LBJ hate is because he seems like a pompous asshole and the backlash about him leaving Cleveland is because of HOW he left and the circumstances surrounding his departure (not so much the actual fact of him leaving)
JohnMariette wrote:
FrozenNinja if he was with Amare in Ny would you like him?

And the only reason i dislike him is because of his athletic ability. So what if he left? I remmeber hearing this awhile back on espn but it was something along the lines of Akron hates Cleveland(think in essence of sports maybe like high school? I really hope some can clarify that. Its not his hometown and would you not want to go somewhere for a change?

And his Nike commercial is he not in the publics eyes even more now and more well known?
I still wouldn’t appreciate the attitude and how he left his former team. I don’t hate him as a player or for his talent…I just don’t like his attitude.

No way that was intentional. There was a towel on the ground and while walking he half heartedly tossed it to the side. He didn’t try to hit that woman.

And the LeBron one just looked like some minor miscommunication.

Can’t really disagree with any of that. Although if his highness really thinks himself as good as it appears he does, maybe he should have taken the Chicago challenge and proven he is as good as advertised. His popularity did seem to take a huge spike after the ‘‘decision.’’ I defend his decision to leave as pretty much a devils advocate type thing because I myself have lost a lot of respect for him. I loved watching him battle Detroit, win at the buzzer against the Magic and lead his team to an improbable eastern conference championship. But after this summer I don’t dedicate nearly as much effort to watch him play.

No way that was intentional. There was a towel on the ground and while walking he half heartedly tossed it to the side. He didn’t try to hit that woman.

And the LeBron one just looked like some minor miscommunication.

[Not a big fan of judging public figures on such short clips at all, they have bad days like the rest of us. Just thought I’d comment on these ones.]
@ Larry David

Is that Alison Brie in your avi?
I think we should get some more pics up to confirm.

Yeah, man. On the strength of her hotness I tried to watch Community. Not my kinda show.

EDIT: Westcoast hows that? My old avi.

Think it’s safe to say Samboso just likes to argue and doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about.
