I may actually hold off on the cutting, however, I’m going to clean up my diet A LOT, and hopefully lean out a little bit in the process. I’m loving the new size, and the strength that has come with it.
I’m thinking about continuing and trying to get a 405 1 rep max on benchpress, as that has been something I’ve never been able to do. I’m also going to take this chance to try super amounts of volume, something I also wanted to give a shot, and I don’t think I would want to do that while cutting.
it might be the pics, but your 215 to 227 pics don’t look like a positive change. it looks like you did great up to then but the last 12 lbs have not been that lean.
Ypur back and abs look much smoother for only 12 lbs.
maybe it’s the lighting, dunno, but was there a change in your apoach?
now, all that being said, fantastic job, what a change from 165!!!
And the fat gain was due to a major change in the amount of calories I ate. I tried and tried forever to gain clean, but never made much progress (at 215)… so one day I just decided that I would eat everything in sight until I got 18 inch arms… which I’m almost there, but the fat gain is / was just out of control. I can lose the fat really fast, so I figured I would just try something new, and I’d say it was partially successful, I’m stronger now than ever at least.
Also that 165 to 215 was enhanced by a pro-hormone so… that would probably explain never gaining any fat and still building quite a solid base.
EDIT: I’m down to 221 right now, and still holding on to my strength despite eating less than 35 carbs a day. I’m so sick of broccoli and salmon/tilapia/chicken breast. It’s not just the light in those 227 pictures, I also must have been holding a lot of water as well, because I can already see drastic changes from those pictures after only … 8 or so days.
What I can’t figure out is why I don’t look much bigger, even though my measurements have gone up, my strength has gone up, and my weight as well. I’m hoping to see the changes once I cut the fat and water.
I have upped my protein intake (290-320grams) and getting all of my carbs from either greens or sugar free energy drinks, not counting calories at the moment, but I know I’m down there as well by probably 1k a day. Taking HOT-ROX and drink so much water that it makes me mad to have stand there for so long when I piss lol. We’ll see what happens.
