Congratulations Lankster. I wish you and your family the best. Enjoy every moment…
Give your GF all the support she needs which I’m sure your already doing. A simple foot rub or lower back rub will earn you brownie points large!
Also, the really really smelly shits that make you gag don’t happen for awhile lol.
Congrats Lanky, my best to you and your new family.
Its an amazing experience so enjoy every minute of it!
After a few months you will wonder what the hell you did with your time before the little fella came along because right now he is all your going to think about…
BTW we’re expecting our 2nd in November…

Congratz on the kid. Leg and wrist weights to start. 20 per arm 40 per leg!
Why did I always imagine you as similar to your avatar…aka a lanky mofo. instead you are 24, 6’4 and like 270? who knew…[/quote]
Everyone pictures people as their avatar. For awhile I pictured Jlu as a bearsharkoctopus creature.
BTW, 25 now, 6’5" and down in weight to 275. In my defense, I was much lankier when I signed up. ![]()

He is, isn’t he?
The baby’s cute too.

Hahaha, that’s particularly funny considering how many times dianab has told me she hates me/my avatar. But I think we’re cool now.

Yo, Papi-Lank, you got a wonderful boy. Welcome to parent’s club. First rule of parents club…you can only talk about your kid to other members. Non-members will be bored or frightened, maybe both.
Best wishes to the Lanky mob. Sleep, as you know it, is over.

Haha, as being a former member of the non parent club I can attest to that!

HA! Additionally, Lanky-Daddy, wait until you start getting ‘advice’ about raising your kid from folks who don’t have kids. Pure gold, especially the ‘what I would do’ stuff.
We have small DVD screens for our vehicle for long trips (sometimes a 10+ hr drive) and a single (childless) neighbor of mine (an academic, feminazi, etc) ‘scolded’ us and told us how kids should be made to watch the changing landscapes intently instead of mindless entertainment. Nevermind that we don’t even have a functioning streaming TV in the house.
We have to laugh, of course.

Oh man, don’t even get me started! Even while she was pregnant we had tons of armchair experts!
I don’t mind suggestions, I mind people telling me what is RIGHT as if their is always only 1 option and whatever we’re doing is therefore wrong.
