What do you think about the Landmine shoulder press? Can it be a good replacement for military press to avoid any low back pain? (sometimes handstands push-ups are annoying me due to the difficult progression)
Especially the half kneeling version

Yeah it can be a great substitute. The half kneeling version is easiear on the back, I find, but you can also do it standing, heavier, or lighter but explosively (as in a punch or shot put motion - don’t release the barbell though), landmine push presses are also awesome or even the landmine snatch.
Safer than the free weight version in those movements I mentioned so it’s a good bet when you want to spare your back.
It’s an awesome exercise but not a true substitute for OHP in my opinion. It’s more like an incline bench press from my experience with it.
doesn’t work delts and some upper back like the military press?
Put a barbell in the corner, add a 25 and do the exercise.
All the answers you’ll ever need.
Did a bunch of these yesterday for the first time. Man, my back is sore! My lats, and rhomboids are tore up. My shoulders are pretty sore, which is rare too.
Is this supposed to hit your back like this too? I felt like my form was decent. I did 3 sets of 15, 1 set of 10, and 3 heavy sets of 6.
