Because it’s possibly the most badass looking car ever produced.
I never understood how people say “oh, well this car will do 205, when yours only does 202” like the extra 3mph (or even 30) matter. You won’t be doing 175 MPH, nor will you probably ever be a good enough driver to do 200mph responsibly.
Sometimes it’s nice to lite responsibility on fire and chuck it out of the window of a car that is going very fast.

You have a good eye! this Z06 was pushing 550+hp, I am sure I could have pushed it to 210mph but they are electronically limited to 198mph.
