Lack of Inflamation Effects Gains!?

Hello all. I believe this is my second post, even though I visit this site every day. I had a question about Arachidonic acid. Its a member of the omega 6 family and according to william lewellyn (anabolics 2007) is a very powerful agent in signalling muscle growth. Now I know everyone here is instantly against anything that actually INCREASES inflammation but remember, the thing thats makes this site awesome is that you constantly learn and grow and an open mind is what fuels progress.

With that said, let me give you all my personal exprience with it. i wont go into the science stuff. Im sure you all can find out about it yourselves and mr lewellyn gives alot of good info in anabolics 2007 about it. I used the product, called x factor for 50 days. I didnt buy the bottles, my mother got them for me for christmas and I recently finished them. honestly i was blown away. I didnt gain massive amounts of muscle or lose all my fat and bacame superman. But i did get stronger. abnormally. and i also gained 9 solid pound in those 50 days. It was awesome.

The second day I used it i noticed what it ment by inflammation… I was sore as hell!!! I felt like i was working out for the first time again. Anyways, if someone wants to share about it, maybe give us the science that would be great. I just thought it was worth noting that an awesome product deserves recognition. peace

I’ve actually used it before myself. Your description is pretty much what I experienced as well. No 20 lbs of muscle, but I did improve my overall composition, and definitely increased my strength. Supposedly it’ll help maintain LBM while dieting as well, though I haven’t tied in that manner myself.

You have to remember that inflamation happens in the muscles after you train, that’s why you’ll find so many articles advising against taking aspirin or anti inflamatories after you workout (it’d be counterproductive).
