Lab Work After 12 Weeks 120mg Test/Wk, 1000iu Hcg/Wk, 25mg Anavar/Day

Hi T Nation,

I’ve been on:

1000 iu HCG/week (2 injections)
120 mg T/week (1 injection)
No AI
25 mg of Oxandrolone/Anavar Monday-Friday
3-5 days per week of CJC/Ipamorelin

I’ve done the Oxandrolone for months now - it’s been maybe 12 weeks or so, and I’m continuing.

I’ve also been messing up and smoking cigarettes about 5-10 or so days out of the month.

Any concerns on these labs? Should the Cholesterol numbers concern me?

Yeah, good lord. You having any high e sides?

Go donate blood - your hematocrit is getting pretty high.

I might be mistaken here but your LDL is too high and likely a result of your Anavar use… You might consider dropping the anavar to let your lipids recover.

Your Vitamin D levels are pretty low too - might be worthwhile to supplement those up.

Good question - I have no high E2 sides. I’ve tried AIs before, no change even after months of lowering E2. I have no gyno, no side effects, so I leave it alone.

have you considered splitting your test dose to 2x per week? would probably keep a better mean value for more steady hormones

That is the protocol I started off with, twice a week injections. I had ED all the time. The only thing I changed was to inject once a week - ED gone. This was tested and tried a few times over the past 2 years, every single time I switched to twice a weed I got ED. Every time I switched to once a week, ED gone.

I don’t see liver values.

What in the world had you thinking its a good idea to run Anavar so long.

Was this doctor prescribed TRT with Anavar thrown in for the hell of it?

The liver values were very low - AST was 33 (10-40) and ALT was 34 (9-46).

Yes doc prescribed TRT, Anavar was doc prescribed as well. Doc said I can use Anavar continuously.

When my total t is around the level of op, my E2 is right about where his is, and I feel good. Some will not feel well though.

I think this is solid advice only if his BP and or heart rate are high. I think of hematocrit as a diagnostic tool for finding the cause of BP or heart rate issues. We worry about strain on the heart when using AAS. The BP and heart rate are much better indicators. Now if hematocrit was 5 points out more higher, I’d perhaps think differently.

True. I would say op has good genetics for lipids considering being on an oral. Mine have been worse as a natty lol. It didn’t get worse on test, but I don’t even want to see what it looks like on orals.

For op, is this something you plan on doing indefinitely? I don’t think you are getting much of of the peptides? Could be wrong on that? Don’t know what your baseline is? If this is a cruise I’d simplify things. If you’re interested in that, I can elaborate. It’s not really a blast with the low dosages. Don’t run an oral for long periods.

If you can drop the smoking, do it. It’s tough I know personally. Using a form of replacement can work to minimize harm. I believe vaping is better, but it can lead to a lot higher use, so I don’t think it’s a great alternative because of that. I went down that path myself. I think the pouches are pretty good. Using AAS and smoking don’t mix well. Both are hard on the heart. I hope this doesn’t come off as peachy.

Appreciate the replies guys.

I’m on the ongoing Anavar as I’m cutting and my body fat drops slowly. My diet is very conservative but the fat drops slowly - my metabolism likes to slow down quiet a bit.

Re the ongoing Anavar - yes I will stop in the next 2 months

Re the peptides - I certainly do feel it when I inject - the sleep is deeper, recovery is better, etc. but I don’t do it every single day. Mostly on days when I’ve had low carbs, so the insulin doesn’t get in the way of the HGH release.

Re the cigarettes - definitely something I need to drop ASAP. Working on that and will do so soon.

I’m already taking 6 caps of Vascepa which is pharma grade fish oil. Anything else I can do to help lipids while I continue Anavar? I’m already eating super healthy, will drop the cigarettes, and will pick up on cardio.

You really dont need var to cut, just count your food intake. The most generous estimates of var’s effectiveness is like 10% extra - if you are 500cal deficit daily, var might turn this into 550cal… not really worth the $$ or health issues.

The “low metabolism” thing is really just something that people say when they dont want to cut more food/want excuses for not losing weight. I know this because i thought (and said) the same and it’s completely not true unless you have a thyroid issue, which it appears you do not.

I dont think youll find much more benefit out of fish oil when youre still ramming var in there. 2 months is a rather long time for var, you might be better suited to just drop it for a few weeks, check lipids, then go for it again towards the end of your cycle. The biggest difference it makes for men is an increase in strength (which goes against the grain while cutting). Just my opinion here

This is from the Var, mostly
