Form was realllly screwed up, apparently I forgot how to pull from the floor. I was basically straight legging it the whole time which got real tough when the bands started deloading lol. There’s more in the tank definitely, I just need to hit my hamstrings hard so I can get in a better position to lock it out.

Been taking this week as a deload. Played around with 2-SCOOPS ragex on wednesday. Had a helluva time just working on getting it to touch then not dumping the bar on my head on the press lol. Real fun though! I like messing around with equipment even though I may not be that strong right now, and I can see doing an equipped meet maybe in a year or two.
Went in and did a bunch of stretching and band work, feel pretty good and can’t wait to get back to smashing it!

Good to be back at it, worked my ass off today. Also picked up an Ace squat suit off plwatch! Hopefully it’ll show by wednesday so I can play around with it.
So looking through my log, my weights have been increasing on almost everything which is good. We do so many variations on squat, bench, and deadlift that it’s hard to keep track of sometimes. Take my last straight bar squat day for example, I hit a 395lb box squat which I took as a 20lb PR but that was comparing it to my 375 free squat. That was easily the most I’ve squatted off a box so I should have been more pleased than I was at the time. I think next time I straight bar I’ll free squat it and I should have no problem getting 415.
I’ve also moved my squat stance out quite a bit compared to where it was when I hit that 375. I tried 1 set today with my stance moved back in and it didn’t go nearly as well so it will be interesting to see if my wider stance makes a difference on my free squats since it will be the first time I’ve free squatted with this new stance.

Straight up wrist curls, using the bench, on international bench day so all the other benches were being used as well. On the plus side the state fair guys were squatting today! …160 for 5 is good right?
