i dont get it. how is this not the world record?? he totaled 2217lbs at about 280 lb bw. not a sanctioned meet for a world record or something?
Andy has Stated on an article he wrote here that he He uses a belt once he gets over 400#, so I dont see him not wearing one for a 900 pull

Don Reinhoudt and Joe Cole have higher totals (although Cole’s were with wraps and that makes it a gray area for some).

I remember reading that too. That’s why I dont think it will ever happen. The way K is all about without a belt makes me think that he gets nothing out of using one. Maybe something will happen over the next few months and he will decide to do it but as far as the interview in Power goes he said he doesn’t plan on competing, just watching

Not getting anything out of the belt on deadlifts is probably it, since he uses one when he squats. So he clearly doesn’t have any aversion to using them, in general.
has it really got to the point that people argue weather or not using a belt makes a lift legit?

Konstantinovs with no belt > Bolton No belt
but
Bolton with belt > Konstantinovs with belt.
We have quite a debacle here.
