I’m sorry that I wasted my life on education, I should’ve spent my time studying the bible and discriminating against minorities, then maybe I could’ve appreciated your incredibly deep observations.
And as for people exposing themselves, I’m sure pushharder will oblige.

I have absolutely no idea what you’re referring to. Your comment has absolutely no pertinence to my statement. I’m actually quite shocked (although I probably shouldn’t be) at your response because it is so completely unrelated to my comment about intelligence.

They actually did a study on this and found it to be pretty even if I remember correctly. I’ll see if I can find it.
I actually was told in my Poly Sci class by my teacher (there were graphs in our book) that showed that liberals tended to be richer and smarter (mainly because a higher number of them attended college when compared to conservatives).
Intelligence has very little to do with knowledge. Anyone who doesn’t understand this probably isn’t that smart.

I’m sure that your university of life smarts and common sense are far more valuable that all that book learning.
I would agree that a college education isn’t essential to succeed in life, and that intelligent people needn’t have gone to college. But do you think that you can do anything in most fields of human knowledge without learning from books?

Being an artist, learning a craft, running a business, making love, being a friend, son, parent, to kill or to die, to love and to leave, to sing, to dance, to climb a tree…
Come to think of it, the most important things can not be learned from books, and someone who has never opened a book might be much better at it and therefore more succesful in live than you are.

There is a difference between reading from books, relying on books, and assuming that the only way is books. I only do the most former, otherwise practicality is usually different than what a book states.

What does a college education have to do with learning from books? Are we not allowed to read unless we get a college degree? And doe slearning from books prohibit one from learning from a true teacher (not just the classroom variety) . . . oh wait - there I go using commons sense again - Dang Guinness!

Isnt’ Guiness closer to liquid bread than say Bud Light or Coors. I personally like to chew my beer so Guiness makes the grade. Less hops makes a better beer in my opinion.
