I have a Benchmade Auto Osborne and a Normandy OTF. I tried the Benchmade Infidel OTF but had far too much slop in the mechanism especially for $500+ cost.
Came THIS close to getting the Benchmade Infidel. My wife wanted the smaller version. Steep price though.
Be glad you didn’t. Totally not worth it. Handle is very large compared to the blade. Check these out. I got the DGado with SV30.
Will check them out. Thanks!
I have a few Benchmade and they’re good but I’ve also been very happy with Civivi recently. Their parent company makes top tier knives, but they bring their springs and various mechanisms to a mid-level line, just without exotic steel. Can still buy optimized blades per use, however.
I’ve been very interested in Civivi. Even knife nuts seem to love them even though it’s more of a budget brand.
The actions are smoother and tolerances are tighter than the Benchmades I have. I’d place Civivi somewhere between Benchmade and Zero Tolerance or Spyderco. It’s an interesting strategy from WE with their flagship on the expensive end of the spectrum, and their budget friendly line undercutting competition with equal or better quality.

I have the Elementum 2.0 and another model my wife gave me for Father’s Day but I’m not sure the name.
The Elementum’s flip feature is annoyingly fun to play with.
Those are fun. When all else fails, throw a pointy piece of metal at it.
I had to reshape my carving knife because it had a pit, which I think was galvanic corrosion from leaving it in the sink, right on the edge. Really crappy.
Anyhoo, I ground it back, reshaped the first couple inches of the blade & spine, and kinda reshaped the edge so I can sharpen it up again real good.
I wish I had taken some befores, but oh well.
Pokey Poke
Kizer Hidden Agenda: Cute, yet nasty. Not bad for $66. Very versatile sheath system. Came with pocket clip and neck lanyard options too.
