COLD STEEL

yes I am a GEEK when it comes to Anime, Comic Books and Knives. I Seen the knife Rorke had in that movie and looked it up.

The Large one is just comical. I can’t imagine anyone needing a utility knife that big unless your hunting.

NOT bad. Most of my blades are cheap except the one from work and the utility one I use for everything, And my Buck that I use when I get underway for patrol.

Any recomendations on this blade or any like it? I’m on the fence but chances are I will buy it.

I love the Gerber Multi tool, I want to get one for every member of my family all 4 brothers, 2 sisters an mom. Best Piece of Steel you will ever have.

Damn. son. mighty fine knife

Woa! How much for the Big knife?

daaaaaaaaang! Fast forward to 3:20 and look how sharp that $500 steel knife is!?!? Slices right through that cardboard like its nothin! lol

The only reason I like the Gerber Freehand is because it cost less, but the leatherman is better made.

However this is a good, GymBag, Glove Compartment multi tool piece of Steel.

brother that thing is near 400 dollars. He pulled it out of his pocket, but I wouldn’t try it ahahahahahah.

They sell a legal 3inch pocket blade for less than half. Nice Demo but damn that is something for hunting not cutting line, pocket rambo

I’m a pro when it comes to knives. And Cold Steel is expensive, but worth every fucking penny. I’ve wanted the Voyager for a while but haven’t scraped together the money for it yet.

As often as I get into confrontations with racks of rib, cardboard cut outs, and 55 gallon drums, I still don’t know if I could justify the cost.

Besides, stabbing a drum like that is just begging for a vaporized chemical spray.
Then who wins?
The drum, thats who.

I just bought this little knife. It’s not nearly as cool as the ninja like model I really liked but I couldn’t buy it after a salesperson convinced me it had serious safety problems (it’s for my lifejacket for paddling) so I had to put it back and get this one.

mad dog knives all the way :stuck_out_tongue:

This is the one I was talked out of:

I like my Leatherman Skeletool CX, it even came with a cool mini flashlight and bonus knife.

Man I love knives and the like. I at one point took up blacksmithing so I could make some, but living in the city does not make that very viable hobby. I also got into all the science and what not of it! But I digress…

From what I understand (assuming my 1-3 year old information is still good) titanium is not good at all at holding an edge. Only titanium nitride or some business like that is decent at holding an edge I believe.

Even more reason to have gone with the other one! Although I doubt it will ever see any use since it’s an emergency knife but good to know about the titanium. The problem with it was that the clip didn’t hold very well and the handle didn’t have a good grip so you’d end up grabbing the blade once it popped out.

My brother enjoys fishing and he has several emergency blades/utility blades but the one I always see him with, his favorite toy is the Spyderco. It fits anywhere and from all the line he has cut I guess it holds an edge well.

So what would you consider the 2nd best folding Blade.

The Buck Ranger, I’ve had this knife for about 20 years. It was given to me by the forman of the Roofing Company I worked for. This thing has been to every island on the windward passage and has cut thru Line, Carved thru wood, Nailed in small nails taken out splinters hahahaha and thrown into many Tree trunks. Old Faithfull If it was just not so damn heavy.

Buck Ranger

about 40 bucks
