I had one more question but i couldnt find the old post (tbh i still havent fully figured out this site lol) but the question was, i have heard a lot of different things when it came to what size to buy knee sleeves, i have heard some people say buy 1 size lower, and some even say 2 sizes lower, any opinions?
i just bought the size that was recommended on the site. Worked fine for me.
Depends on the brand, I have a pair of yellow jackets large(1 size smaller) that were tight as hell. I also have a pair of nordic knee sleeves, medium(2 sizes smaller), that I use just to keep my knees warm because there is barely any compression.
I never buy sleeves without trying them on first, but I recognize that not everybody has this luxury.
I bought elbow sleeves online and they didnt’ fit well. I compete at 181 and have small calves, so medium SBD and Titan yellow jackets fit great. (Titan Yellow jackets tighter above the knee and the calves). Measure around your knee, but also measure your calves if you have big calves. If your calves are bigger than your knee, go with that measurement, especially for anything that tapers.
