I think it is a very solid program, just not my mindset/objectives right now. I will probably start using in in 2012 when everyone else is on 6/4/2 or some other such program.

“overhead squats” and “i like” only combine in the sentences of the hardcwore! lol

Good luck with the 5.3.1- I got a little bored with it, but there’s room for individual creativity with assistance work etc., so you can keep it interesting and it’s a solid format.

first wave week day what ever 531

mobility including dislocates, lytp 2x , mo and mo dislocates.

A OH press bar x lots,95x5, 105x5, 120 x 10 ( felt sad )

B1 pull up 10,8,8,8,5,5,6 =50
B2 wide grip dip 4x15 = 60

my OH pressing strength is in the crapper.
I should have done face pulls or power cleans first.
could’nt get with it today- even the bar felt heavy.
I might need to reset some maxes a little lower- knocked off 10%
but think I might go lower to get some of the higher rep benefits.

I’d give it a full month and then decide, kevin. 10 reps on your 5’s week isn’t bad. although I can understand wanting higher reps for the rehab aspects…

yeah, if you’re getting 10 on the 5 set, you are fine. I wouldn’t reset the max until you can’t hit the number at all.
