got a massage yesterday and between that and something I did at work last night something in my lower back- right side wasnt feeling right
A front squat
wu 135x8 205x4x6*
B rack pull from knees
225x5 wu 405x4x6**
C bulgarian split squat pairs of db’s
50x6,60x6 60x6
D1 pull throughs***
3x10
D2 hanging leg raises feet to face
3x10
- ok so what ever is happening in my low back is unpleasent front squat felt good
till the third set- they they got super hard to get the last 2 reps.
** these felt like ass, the last set I did
as paused reps- only way to finish.
I trained at the ghetto gym with the rack
the rack is a disaster and the bars are shit, smooth no knurling left
*** pull throughs actually felt really good,
made my back feel much better, so did the hanging leg raises.
again does not look like allot but I feel like ass.

I hear you on the front squats when your back ain’t right. I totally rehabbed with front squats and for awhile I was going much heavier on those than my back squats.
The Bulgarian S-Squats are HELL at any weight.

there are some westside ish things there,
she tailored her’s to her PL training,
im attempting to stick to the book
it calls for 2 lower and 2 upper body days a week
this is one lower day the other is
box squats, speed deadlifts and some accesorie work.
I should have went lighter, the rack pulls kind of did me in.

Have you done a lot of rack pulls in the past? I think they’re great for upper back plus they help when deadlifting in gear. The suit helps break it off the ground but you have to be able to lock it out.
Did you do it out of a rack? I’ve done it from metal pins and off wooden boxes. The boxes were better because the bar isn’t quite as dead as it is on metal pins.
I think we all want to do it in the rack. I can’t find anyone to do it off the pins with. And I agree, doing it on the box is the shizzle stick.
