Was that a Tltle IX cancellation on the wrestling program?
Hey Buffalo
the one where I went to D1 school- was that happened in the late 90’s
the more recent one in D3 was probably funding related.
its a shame that is actually a or was a great wrestling Area in NYS.
brings the count from 63 programs to 19 in NYS for wrestling NCAA
Yeah, I went to an upstate d-III and they tried to drop the wrestling program in the '90s. When I went they were very strong, but in the following years not so much. Which opened the door for them to try to cancel the program.
Loved the sport from Jr High on…just couldn’t do it cause I was really tall and weighed about 100 lbs dripping wet…They didn’t make a singlet that narrow.
Buff150 I was the opposite- 5 foot zero and stocky but still weighing 100
we had a power house coach who actively recruited and got you the help you needed in school
He also brought up the local area to a high level mohawk valley in central NY.
wow - page 2 must be a busy day.
was swamped all day I am supposed to fly out for World Series on Monday,
no info as of yet, as in Zero past the rate agreement.

Great work as always. Clean and pressing more then you weigh for 2 reps. Now you’re showing off.

x2. From the hang, no less -can you say Death Grip?
It kind of bummed me out to see you pushpress 225x 2 when I failed at 185 tonight. since I only weigh 110 lbs more than you, i am considering ritual suicide.
However, you should not let this take away from your bath of awesome. You’re kicking major booty.
Fucking love the Javelin press, had to x it out because of westside and time, but those fuckers hit my medial delts like a mfer. I tend to use the barbell for them, the imbalance is what makes them espescially difficult for me.
eco thanks- I am trying- want to be able to knock out some 100kg or 225 lbs cleans.
anything over 195 is really hard unless I am having a great day.
PG if I have any thing it is ok grip thanks
MJ- I hit them and then stopped - dropping shit on my head is only so many attemps away ![]()
Matty I am sooooo keeping those they are awesome better then one handed db presses I used to do.
ok day off from training-
a Rolfer I used to see was in town so I booked an appointment with her
Rolf work is some crazy ass massage technique I have had good results with.
she worked on my it bands , shins and feet
she thinks the knee is completely from rectus femoris imbalance- suprise suprise.
and that my IT bands where ok- comparitivley
then I came home and read the knee rehab article- same shit.
what she did find is my left leg, hips, ankle foot are all super tight
but the right is having issues currently
and she worked the shit out of my hips.
ok that sounded bad.
and she crushed my IT bands with elbows
she also thinks my feet- are part of the problem
and maybe achilles heel too.
hmmm more shit to figure out.
Bad feet/ankles usually equals bad knees.
I had my IT bands stretched too yesterday. I have never stretched them knowingly…so they were super duper DUPER tight of course.
I’d say good for you but that didn’t sound very good at all.
Hopefully it helps.
Rolf technique, Deep tissue Massage, Graston Techique. Bullshit it all should just say Torture…plain and simple. And they get paid to make you cry out in pain. For an hour. Then they tell you to come back for more, and you do!!!
Good lifting here.
just lurking, still one of the best logs on this site.

Sounds like your having a blast!
Damn you spend a lot of time in the air. I find that all the travel tends to really make me stiff and I have to do a lot of mobility work to make up for it. What about you?
