Hmmm this week except for cleans I pulled mixed grip- hands are beat up.
when you say snatch grip- do you mean to Hook- like you do for the Olifts?
or snatch width?
either are great for grip.

he is a PL type who competes and is starting to pull in think in the 600’s hook grip.
straps are tough and fire up allot of arguments.
I am a guy with big hands, and my sports grip strength comes with the territory
personally I try to never ever use them- but recently when I am tired from work
or have other broken crap or my hands are just fatigued straps might be smart.
I did use them - before I lost them, doing High pulls or heavy jump shrugs
if you are Hook griping - using straps is hard-
if you are pulling snatch width straps are sometimes a hand saver
I think if you are doing Olifts- and you did some skill work
cleans , snatches, drop snatches, power jerks or what have you
straps are fine after that for Clean pulls, snatch pulls etc.
Marauder Meat does use straps on many of his dead lifts and he is a beast.
he feels that pulling super heavy dbl overhand with straps improves your grip.
Heavy Thrower, Carl Darby our O-lift Guru and FarmerB all pull heavy with straps
( and superb form I might say )
I think straps are OK for things that will crush your hands like snatch width high pulls
or just good to give the hands a rest.

Notes-
ankle tape felt great- knee tape came undone this stuff only works if bare.
KT tape is good but expensive
cleans- just wanted to see how the knee ankle felt - they felt good.
I realize I do ALLOT of jumping- trap bar or DB jumps
broad jumps cleans hmmmm bad knee and ankle go figure
everything felt nice hard but nice.
pullups felt super good.
TRX - think I want to buy one now.
