damn, i thought you were going to do planks. impressed the weight doens’t fall off with your push-ups.
Outstanding training and insight on body mechanics, as always.
Great to see your work ethic has not changed. I like the loaded push-ups. I’ll have to try that on the medicine balls. I’ll need to be loaded and unloaded however. Sorry about the ankle/knee situation. Really hope you can work it out in your favor. Stay strong!
dday- thanks man, I dont think its that bad, just some inflamation
PeteS - thanks I know what to do, and Im sure its the same thing
lack of correct shoes + lots of use
O_b_s thank you, those pushups are harder, since I dont do much pressing,
I figure why not.
Matty, thank you I did peep youvid - your tris are the size of my quads.
glad to see you back I like how you loaded yours too
Alexus thank you- it helps if you have a big ass , that is how the plate stays.
Harry- thank you, that means alot.
see failing out of chiropractic school can help!!
Streamline thank you good to see your positive energy back
good weekend little man went for his first real swim and I got a sunburn.

Impressive man. You ALWAYS get sh%t done.
Joe it completely sucked I am still feeling the ab roll-outs pausing these is a killer
Ddot thank you- trying to do something
tuesday morning- little man totters into the bedroom while I am half passed out
with a book and bangs on the bed giggling and yelling for me
til I wake up and read it to him.
Ordered a pair of adidas powerlift trainers for less then 100$ they have a .60 inch hell
the nike romeleos are kinda too much for me right now.
training- staggered off to the gym for some much needed rehab mobility
here is what happened
pvc lax ball at home mad stretching- dislocates feet rolling etc
at gym
jump rope and some shuttle runs -
hundreds of leg swings
3 round circit of
hanging leg raises, ng pullup , face pulls, OH squat @ 65 all x10
BB complex 65 2x5, 95 2x5,135 3x3 ( no power snatch at 135)
BO row
RDL
Pull
hang clean
power snatch
at this point I felt like ass and saw no real improvement
so I did
A1 1 arm db snatch 60 4x6
A2 ATG front squat 185 4x10
will catch up on you people later tonight.
Ah yes, yours is already escaping and waking you up, good times. Mine just managed to craw over the crib rail yesterday but after the 3ft fall to the floor I don’t think he’ll be doing that again for a bit.
Interested in hearing about the Adidas. Not sure if you saw it in my log but I just got a pair of Romaleos, they’re very nice. Almost got the Adidas but couldn’t find any reviews on them and didn’t want to take the chance. I’m sure they’ll be good they’re Adidas after all.
Aiight…I read the first and last page trying to catch up.
Such interesting sumo talk. Especially since I’ve been trying to [rather unsuccessfully] teach myself how to do it raw as well. The comments Pete made about geared sumo really intrigue me since I compete geared. I have tremendous external hip rotation/flexibility and fairly long legs for my size. So I should be a natural but just really struggle with the basics.
Nice work, BTW.
Dday- I saw youd vids with shoes,
I think they will help and I will keep everyone posted on how the adidas work…
awww sorry your guy fell like that
Rowan was already up- and I was still passed out from work-
he just wanted to hang out.
Ksnap- thank you, it is an amazing set of dialog- I love it.
the best reason to come to this site is all the different kinds of great advice from people
who have been there
it sounds on paper that you might indeed be a sumo puller- what does your coach say?
got to train today-
still feel like shit
7.21.11 upper training
bodyweight 185 in gym clothes - kind of explains it
pvc lx ball and dislocates at home.
LYTP , face pulls , scap pushpups, back raises, dips all 3x10 one fat circuit
A1 zpress 65x8,95 3x5, 1052x5, 115 5x3
A2 Pendlay row 135 2x5, 185 2x5, 225 5x3
B1 DB bench 80x6,90x2x5,100 3x3
b2 pullup BW+25 6x5
thats it.
Notes- bodyweight was down- probably just a bit dehydrated no suprise
big giant set to warm up
z press - seated on floor in rack- these are hard as hell -
pendlay row- felt ok- dont know how much more then 225 or 245 I can do with OK form
the other stuff felt fine
not much energy and the gym got over run with bullshit 15 year olds from the basket ball court
I am actually switching gyms to another ghetto gym- they opened up a planet fitness here
its 10$ a month the other Ghetto gym is 20 its ok. but has hex plates
the YMCA is super ghetto and the pool is always dirty.
so I am moving on in august.
good training as always. 185? go eat something, everything…
Pete- thanks
thats 185 in shorts shirt sneakers ipod and I think I had my belt on >_<

X2, you are in the heart of the best pizza, calzone, stromboli in the country…dig in.
Suddenly my thread turned into something from the bodybuilding forum
next you bastids will just start telling me to eat a whopper
its summer and I worked something like 30 hours in two days- and yes I want a cookie.
will try to check out you peeps- soonest.
whoa! that knee sitch doesn’t sound good at all! Take care of that, you.
And congrats on being swole - my suspicion have been confirmed ![]()
$10 a month? That’s good. I can’t believe I pay what I do. Such shit.
Anyways, you may be lacking energy, but training looks good. Make sure you’re eating and sleeping!
eat.
eat.
eat.
cherish every moment with little man. do it for those who can’t live the experience of parenthood ![]()
mashy- thanks girl… yes the knee is jacked up.
its part of the whole ankle and hip issues I have,
the ankle rolls out and the knee wants to lean in towards my instep.
nlmainy-
I ate like a fat kid all weekend - but no good results
I LOVE all the time I get with little man- working crazy hours- means I am with him
most of the day or not for a few days he is awesome-
people don’t have to have kids- plenty of other options for having or getting a child
bw 184 in gym clothes after ‘training’ today
I guess I should go eat a whopper
or 6
wtf with that.
got my new adidas power lift shoes.
they are not as stiff as the pair I had years ago but that pair had cork and a wooden heel
they are good and loaned allot of needed stability
just played in the gym today- not much time
6.25.11 just messing around
pvc and lx ball at home - some mobility too
ran just over a mile to the gym
BB complex 65,95,135,135 all 3x3 of
BO row, RDL, Jump shrug, hang clean
Front squat
65x8,95x8, 135 2x5, 155x5, 185x5, 225 2x3, 245 2x2, 265x2 275x2 295 3x1
did nothing else this was just to play with the new shoes.
I like them the heel could be higher its just about a half inch on this model
knee and ankle where much more stable - then usual so this is good.
will catch up with you people soon- and will post pics of new shoes
and video later in the week when I take some

That would be because you’re a beast. Sweet mercy you move a lot of f##king plates! I’m especially embarassed because we’re the same weight.
DAMN YOU!
Okay, I’m jealous but you still rock.
