Kirill Sarychev Highest Raw Total Ever?

Great stuff

You will have to ask @jbackos about that, I couldn’t understand why he was talking about Reinhoudt’s squats in wraps.

If this was about a single user it wouldn’t be nearly as typical.

Y’all hijacked and wrecked my thread lel. @jbackos v @chris_ottawa need to settle this with a curl off. Trial by gains

That’s about as close to saying the sky is blue as you can get.

Agreed. Finally someone who read the thread.

Not sure if peaking but Sarychev makes 280kg and 306kg his bitch. New opener for his next meet. Looks like a new world record is on the way from this absolute giant of a man.

Earlier this year Eddie Hall was talking some shit about “I think with a few months of technique work and specializing on the bench, I’m pretty sure I could take the world record at bench press." To be fair he had just benched 265kg x 6 reps. Still on the above evidence no one is touching Sarychev anytime soon.

I don’t know about that. He better make some progress soon because people are catching up.

Seem like Josh Bryant is is hoarding all the big American benchers like Strickland.

Maddox should make Kirill nervous, at least about his current WR . Any idea how old he is and bodyweight?

The way Maddox is improving he’ll get the 700 soon and aim for the WR later. I could see him competing relatively frequently going for new PRs and ultimately that world record but the whole time Sarychev will be building up and eating special soviet sport supplement potatoes.

Been a while since Sarychev’s competed. He’s been building up ever since. Progress definitely there I reckon he’s just waiting for a good time to back off of deadlift and WRPF commitments. IMO even if he loses the WR for a time he’ll be able to take it back by that point.

Not really. He looks to be over 300lbs. for sure and not over 40, but that doesn’t really say too much.

When did Sarychev set the all time total WR? Wasn’t that last winter? It looks like his bench is kind of plateaued for the last while, I haven’t been following Maddox but it looks like he has been making steady progress. If Sarychev can continue to increase his bench then nobody will be able to beat him any time soon, but if not Maddox has the potential to break his record in another year or two.

Pretty sure he’s only about 27 and weighs around 360 ish.

Think Sarychev has stalled for a bit in the past don’t know the exact details tho. Think it was at just over 700ish

I’m guessing with Sheiko he is doing a lot of volume at relatively low intensity. Fatigue masks fitness, readiness and that kind of jazz.

We won’t know and even Kirill himself probably doesn’t know what kind of numbers he can hit until it’s peaking time.

Full power or is he a bench only kind of guy?

He could be Ray Williams in disguise.

I’m pretty sure he’s not overreached, he only benches heavy once every 10 days or so.

I have yet to see a video of him squatting or deadlifting. Josh’s other bench guys still squat and deadlift but they don’t go too heavy, although you can still find training videos of James Strickland and Jeremy Hoornstra squatting and pulling. James has done full power meets, I think he pulled something around 700 but right now he’s going for bench records. That’s the thing that makes Sarychev so impressive, not only can nobody touch his bench but he also has a total WR and can still beat anyone’s bench after squatting.

How many other people have actually benched 700 or more raw? I only know of Eric Spoto.

Probably a handful aside from Sarychev and Spoto: Mendelson & Henderson. Think those 4 were in comp lifts.

Seems like there’s many people who are real close at present tho.

Full meet. Saw him do something like 793, 700,850 roughly. Squat was basically paused at the bottom. I think he could easily take the all time total with some work.

Was asking about Maddox lel.

The name of this thread is “Kirill Sarychev Highest Raw Total Ever?” with that vid linked in the first post.

Hopefully he learns how to use knee wraps, get’s an invite to Pro Raw Big Dogs 3 next year and can go up against Malanichev with highest total winning the day with a 50k cash prize. Or something like that.

The highest raw total is already there for him. Just needs to peak.

Yea realized that after I typed it.

20/20 hindsight lel
