Kids Cross Ditch to Get to School

This makes me sad for our future…

Are you fucking kidding me? Kill them all. That’s the only resonable response.

If this is a short cut then they choose to take this route. Take your fat asses the extra 1/4 block to go around it, if you’re scared of getting the bottom of your shoes wet.

Two years mandatory hard labor for everyone when they graduate high school. This needs to happen.

Seriously?

When I was a kid, my brother and I DELIGHTED in creek-jumping!

Kids today, Sheesh!

am i missing something? these kids can take whatever route they want, and hop over anything they want. part of being a kid is indulging in some brief freedom by exploring after school, before you go home to take piano lessons or soccer practice or whatever .
there is a big canal next to my backyard and when i was a kid i would jump across it and climb up the bank instead of going around it. which was harder during rainy season because the jump would have to be a leap. if adults had told me it was dangerous that would have made it more fun. adults could tell me what to do when i was in school, but out of school i got be a human being again

I am way more saddened by the people at that station who actually thought this was “news”.

No offense, but if you really shelter your kids that much, they aren’t worth joining the rest of us when they grow up.

Fucking parents.

Funny. I used to spend hours playing in a ditch next to train tracks as a kid.

Lol what? I used to cut through the woods for a half hour to get back to my house after school. That included crossing a small run-off creek.

What is the big deal?

Guys… Did you miss the part about these being WHITE KIDS! The horror! This isnt happening in “urban” environments!

My friends and I used to HANG OUT (by choice) in an abandoned and condemned building that was falling apart, nails exposed and on the ground, sharp wood everywhere… And of course the porn mags the homeless guys left behind.

When I heard “ditch” I was thinking it was going to be some construction site or a BIG sum-bitch that they had to jump over… This was a man-made water canal that was literally inches across.

Time to under populate.

jesus christ

Kids getting off of their bikes to walk across?

They should be building jumps to see who can do the most messed up trick, without regard for whether they land it or not.

In fact a while back I drove through one of my old neighborhoods. There was this hill I would ride my red tricycle down. Looking it now, what was I or my parents thinking LOL, hell I would ride a normal bike down it now, I was 5 at the time.

dat contractor money

Please tell me this is a joke, for the love of fuck let it be a joke…

The design team are still deliberating over whether they should build the bridge out of rainbows or candy canes.

If we’re lucky, maybe they’ll drown in that puddle and this will be the last we here of it.

LOL

=D

A lot of people pointing the finger at the wrong group here. How many kids were complaining about the creek? 0. This is moron parents not moron children. I bet the kids are completely indifferent to it or enjoy doing it. The funny thing is they will build a bridge but it will hardly be used as kids will still cross in the place most convenient to them - probably 2 yards to the left of the bridge.
