What is your goal for a max deadlift?
Just as much as possible haha
I tried the AMRAP deadlift set training, it felt amazing. My low back felt better after then before, it suprised me. The back pump feels great and healing.
Ive decided on this routine, this time itās different, I donāt think I will change this since itās so fun.
My routine now:
Each day Double Kettlebell Clean and Press and Pullups training whenever I feel like
And every Wednesday AMRAP Deadlift 1 set ( I think every 2-3 days is impossible to do all out like this so each week i decided )
On this wednesday I got 180 kg for 7, Iām bad at high rep deadlifts so I think this is a great way for me to improve
When I get to 12 to 15 reps with 180 kg I will test my max again
I noticed in your last max DL you didnt appear to have a belt on. Do you always DL without a belt? My back aches thinking about it.
Yeah I donāt have a belt, I never lifted with a belt
Alright I decided I want to make a fat loss transformation video where I just do Kettlebell Swings, walking and Deadlifts. edit: and Pushups
Its gonna be cool. It will be a quick cut.
How many hours will the cut be? ![]()
Haha I hope to 8-10% bodyfat
Today have been doing kettlebell swings and walking all day, here is a set of pullups
Cool article
Good article. He was doing some VERY heavy KBs, but then again he DLs over 1000lbs. I had worked up to 3x12 at 110 (50kg) before my DL of 500. Have a handle for KB that you can use Olympic plates on, pretty slick set-up. My gym only has KBs up to 55lbs. Think the swings, along with heavy hip thrusts ( up to 375x3 for me), were crucial.
Yeah, the swings are great
But this is crazy, I started doing pushups again, and my physique completely changed within a day
I will keep doing pushups and swings and Deadlift each wednesday.
Iām going to start training at the gym again after long time of training at home
I am still figuring out a routine
edit:
This is what I have written down right now for my gym routine, it might change a lot
Monday, wednesday, friday
Highbar Squat 5 x 5
Incline Bench 5 x 5
Pendlay Row 5 x 5
Pullups 3 x -
Kettlebell Swings 3 x 30+
Ive never been good at squatting, so I think I can make great gains if I focus on it
What do you guys think about this routine?
Ah nevermind ill keep continue training at home
My mind feels a bit scrambled haha
Alright Ive been doing Swings, Pushups, Pullups and I added grip exercises again such as one arm dead hang
On wednesday I will deadlift once per week
Here is one arm dead hang, Iām going to do this more often
Fat Gripz Extreme Pullups
Just doing grip strength stuff for a while, its what I enjoy at the moment
Still cutting? And how much are you walking per day?
Yeah I am trying to cut
Iām not sure how much I walk, but itās a lot. But I eat too much.
Now ive been focusing on bodybuilding at home with pushups, goblet curls, kettlebell swings and pullups
Im 83 kg now which I feel is too heavy for me, Ive been steady gaining weight since quitting abilify
It feels like my appetite has been doubled.
Iām trying to cut at the moment but my weight keeps going up after quitting abilify. Glad I quit it but this is one downside I guess I donāt know how long this will last
I miss my old physique from last year even though I am stronger now
Im back to doing Kettlebell Swings and Pushups like I was back then, but now im way heavier
