hey folks, i’m trying to do the keto thing. i see buttloads of encouragement for folks to use surge as a postworkout supp. what about those of us on the keto thing? recommended?
also re surge: what if i do just cardio that day? still quaff some surge after?
Don’t worry, your body just sucks up those much needed carbs after training and it doesn’t interfere with fat loss at all. In my experience, it makes keto diets even better because I don’t think a straight keto diet is all that healthy nor do most people feel all that great or have good workouts on them. With Surge however, workouts are improved and some of the downsides to keto dieting are fixed. Berardi, the guy who designed the stuff, has said the same in a paper issue of T-mag. I think he did say to drop the Surge if you’re a competive BB a week away from a contest, but that’s it. Everyone else would benefit from proper post-workout drink usage even (and perhaps especially) when dieting. As for cardio, Berardi has answered this many times as well. I think the “Essential Berardi” article covers that in detail. Look it up at T-mag.
