Kerry & Bush Grades The Same!

Liftus,

You kill me!!!

Anyway, the issue is this: Far too many supposed “intellectuals” have looked down their nose at Bush.

Far too many people have made unwarranted attacks on his intelligence.

You would think that this guy beating your chosed candidates would wake people up.

It’s suprising how many people give all the credit to his campaign managers.

It’s also surprising that people are so hung up on style over substance. I guarantee with Lincoln’s face, his high-pitched voice, and his wart, the same dinks would be making commentary about him lacking the ability to “communicate.”

Finally, give me a guy who says what he means and means what he says any damn day.

JeffR
You mean like “lockbox”? JeffR always good for a laugh.
JTBS, you do know Bush’s social security proposal is voluntary and will not eliminate SS don’t you?
Shh…you will ruin the liberals scare tactics!

Note:
Most rethugs won’t be talking about what was buried on page A7 in the Globe (by the so called liberal media). Oh yeah Swift Boat Veterans for truth are still liars, gee I’m stunned.

What will the “liberal media” do though?
Discuss more important things like grades in college—I don’t remember when grades in school were a reflection of ones I.Q.–for either canidate. Does this mean that Cheney’s the dumbest idiot on the planet? I’m sure apologies are forthcoming by all to Mr. Kerry. Let’s see will Hannity talk about grades, or apologize for slandering Kerry? I’m guessing—grades.

Vroom:

Your sense of humor does not translate to well to the written word.

By voluntary you mean not voluntary right? Because your benefits would still be “cut”. And by not eliminate you mean step one in dismantling Social Security?

And of course by now you realize that it’s dead in the water, because oh just about every real american hates the plan.

I’m not so sure I was trying to be funny…

You are a clown. of course you or I won’t be President. But your original contention was only the blue bloodsbecome President. I presented 3 of the last 5 that weren’t. Now you come back with they were supported by rich people.

Well no shit man.

How about you stop watching West Wing and pretending to be up on what you’re talking about.

Now–move along

As usual, lumpy, you missed the entire point.

I’ll type it again: Too many of your pals think that Bush’s lack of orational polish means he is ignorant.

Imagine if Bush would have come out the loser at Yale. I Guaran-fucking-tee you and your pals would be all over this website with, “See I told you.”

Makes us laugh our ass off at you!!!

We don’t really give two farts and a shit about what grades Bush got in Yale. Lincoln had exactly one year of formal schooling.

You, and your pals, are the ones we are laughing at. Once again, your “chosen candidate” comes up short against W.

I love it!!!

JeffR

Jerffy,

What grand mystical evidence are you using to determine the godlike wisdom and intelligence that Bush posesses?

Do you have any reason, other than blind passion for the republican party and all that it stands for, to assume his brilliance?

Please, trot it out for us. Lacking some real evidence, you and your ilk are just as guilty as the left you love to point your finger at during your mindless little cheerleading drills.

Fanatic!!! Hypocrit!!! Why am I such a fucking twit!!!

Goooo Jerffy!!!

Yea…those are the scare tactics I was talking about! Good job!

Oh wait…you forgot: All of the old people will be living in the streets. AND IT’S ALL BUSH’S FAULT! LOL

Oh…well I’m trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.

It’ll bite you on your bottom.

well, during the campaign we were told over and over that Just For Kerry was incredibly bright and nuanced. A real intellectual.

And as it turns out, GWB’s grades were a point higher, and his Armed Forces Aptitude test score was higher.

Of course, Just For Kerry laughed it off by saying he’d been partying the night before…SHIT! I thought GWB was the party animal.

My mistake.

How long ago was the most recent comparable test between the two anyway?

What do we have to go on, realistically, these day… anything at all?

sigh. Nothing’s ever enough for you, is it?
lol…sadly.

November? One of them got elected and the other didn’t.

Heh, I can’t argue that.

However, you aren’t going to try to convince me that the election results are somehow related to the intelligence of the candidates are you?

Well, honestly…why not?
Bush put together a disciplined team, he worked the stump pretty well, and he won.

Kerry had a huge staff that didn’t work well together, he couldn’t get anything done, they couldn’t stay on message and he continued to mis-play and mis-handle events.

Honestly, there were days I felt sorry for him…and as a neighbor (as in state) I’ve been watching him and not liking him for years and years.

So which one was smarter?

No

But, so far, all quantifiable evidence would suggest he’s equal to the very intelligent opponent he defeated.

And I state, again, that mispronouncing words and speaking in a folksy manner do not make one an idiot.

I’m gonna bet now that you don’t want to debate him on anything political or world affairs or sports from what I understand. What he lacks in technical debate skills, he makes up for in charisma and leadership. 2 fine qulities one would look for in a leader for a company or a country.

Quantifiable?

Are you referring back to those really aged records again?

I’ll take Zeb’s answer here, the left probably does seriously underestimate the republican candidates. Well, either that or inflate their own.

The same is true the other way though.

Having good teams isn’t necessarily an indicator of intelligence. It may also or instead be a good indicator of the intelligence of some members of the team – or even a group of people that work together well.

Perhaps, and just perhaps, the candidate elected had something to do with the prevailing conditions of the time, and a little bit less to do with either of the candidates involved. Especially with respect to all the conclusions jumped to and crowing conducted by the backers of their respective candidates upon winning?

This whole debate is asinine. If you vote for a candidate on the basis of his undergraduate GPA, the country would be better off if you didn’t vote. John McCain is one of the finest public officials the United States has ever had and he finished close to the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy. There are far more important things in a leader than book smarts.
