Couple of questions regarding kegs…
How would i get one on the cheap preferably free… would a bar give me an empty one?
how much does an empty one weigh?
are they easy to fill?

I don’t know about Ireland, but one of the easiest ways to get one is to get one from the liquor store, drink the beer, and keep the keg.
If I remember right, I think they weigh around 30 pounds empty and 160 water-filled.
They aren’t that hard to fill. There’s been some threads on here about it before.

or you could do what i did, one night after a few bevies, run out the pub with an empty keg
im thinking of just nicking one… im assuming its hardly a “massive” crime… and would add a nice twist to the night. 
basically want something different to train with, ive trained with tyres all summer but im going back to the city and there aint anyroom for tyre flipping… so i was thinking a keg filled about 3/4 - 4/5 to make the water slush about to make it a bit harder. theres so much you could do with it… squat, snatch, clean and press, curl, bench press etc etc
