Keep the damn kids off the lawn

new gym membership

classic bber gym now swayed in the right direction: 2 Forza benches, brand new monolift, platform with hooks for bands, specialty bars, bands, chains, boards, squat boxes, plus tired, atlas stones, circus dumbell, logs, fat bars, etc. etc.

of course noone there to run the mono so I ended up in a rack walking these out

box squat 365 + 120ish in chains, 10 x 2, 45 seconds rest between sets. walking out chained squats sucks, and I will never do it again.

ssb box squat 3 x 6

leg curl 5 x 12

pull through 5 x 15

calve raise 5 x 15

decline sits 3 x 12 w/50

leg raise 3 x 12

hot as hell in there, felt like I sweat out 10 in water. nice that drive home was only 20 minutes through construction and rush hour

I hate you, meat, and everyone else who keep stumbling into specialty gyms that have all the good stuff.

fuuuuuuuuu

DF, I chose to live where I live to have access to things other than, well moonshine stills and some banjo playin…

well, if you are a defense attorney charging exhorbitant rates you can get yourself a mono in no time at all… not sure of your focus, future barrister.

actually just figured a monolift equals your average engagement ring. not sure if that is useful information or not…

Is that so?

I foresee an awkward proposal with a ring box with an IOU inside, followed by many late nights happily squatting in my new monolift.

tons of running around today but finally made it to commercial gym to train. some bb’ers I know were there so at least I had hand offs, amidsts shaved shoulders and tans

floor press 135 x 15, 225 x 8, 315 x 3, 365 x 1, 405 x 1, 435 x 1, but something bad happened at lock out/rack, elbow/tricep insertion immediately spasmed. still did 315 x 12 after, just to verify that area has issues.

low pulley row 6 x 12-15 w/under achiver stack

dumbbell curls seated 45s/55s/65s x 10

front raise 4 x 12

rear delt 3 x 15

rope press downs 2 x 50, trying to get some blood into aching area

watched my 4.75 year old ride bike for an hour straight in driveway, while 1 year old made a PR of 6 steps

40 minutes elliptical, plus Logan’s bday party + 20 bags of mulch, plus shower and groom 300lbs of dog. gonna go to work to rest tomorrow

Pete was thinking of you this weekend…saw a guy clean a 137 lb db (2" handle) and press it 22 times, take about 4 or 5 min then do 20…pretty crazy. Then he ripped a phone book in half, broke a bat over his thigh and bent an aluminum bat in half…ha ha ha crazy shit

deads:

145 x 5, 235 x 5, 325 x 3, 415 x 2, suit on 505 x 2, 595 x 1, 645 x 1, 705 x miss, 705 x 1

ghr 4 x 12
one leg leg press 4 x 12

leg raise 4 x 15
dumbbell shrug 4 x 20

happy with tonight

Elbows sleeves apparently hold all the power.

Nicely done.

Those people that don’t tell you not to use chalk are…smart.

Strong stuff.

Thanks Steve, is that one of your boys there?

early a.m. 30 minutes elliptical. might start doing it this way again. This weeks schedule is a little mixed up, no squatting tonight, have a fishing clinic with 4 year old. Will be hitting up a different gym tomorrow for some lower work, Saturday will raw bench somewhere. next week get done what I can get done then off to Michigan for the 4th, 5 or 6 days out of the gym. [/quote]

Michigan? Where are you going to visit?

These are the important PR’s.

Ruglayer, we are heading to Pentwater Friday to see about 50 of my inlaws. Kind of in the Luddington area.
