Keep it simple

My opinion on close grip benches is that most emg analysis done shows it is neither a great chest exercise or a great tricep exercise. Especially for triceps the leading exercise in most tests is the flat bench tricep extension(also know as nose breaker or skull crusher). Why not get the most out of the energy you expend? Why put energy into exercises that have been shown to not be as responsive as others? Why not just do the excercises that work best? As for having to hit a muscle from different angles this is not always true. While I do not agree with everything dietrich has spoken about I must also agree that when using the right grip on rowing you do incorporate the bulk of your back muscle including the upper back which is what you hit with pull ups. Anyway that’s just my little 2 cents on the subject.
