Been looking at your log also, dont envy you doing it on low calories! Are the sessions getting easier as you get acustomed to them?
Iām being very conservative with the weight, using percentages of my training max rather than percentages my actual 1RM max. That probably helps.
I definitely like the pace - and the fact that Iām getting a ton of practice on the basic lifts. I wouldnāt say that the sessions are becoming easier - I wasnāt able to add weight on the pullups after wave one, for example, since there were broken sets. And the weights overall are creeping up steadily ā¦
But I think the program is a good āfitā for me so, in a way, Iām finding it to be an easy way to train psychologically.

Picked up some more 20kg plates. 4 of them. Down side of getting stronger lol. Whilst there the old boy started pulling out random stuff that i could have. Some of which was way older than me, including a chest expander springy thing and a chest crusher, and some 15lb plates that i think are from the 1920s!

Went over on it at football, i couldnt be arsed with A+E last night so waited until morning to see how it was. Swelling gone down a fair bit, it doesnt really hurt and i can put weight on it. So certain its just a bad sprain ![]()
Seeing as though most of the neversate stuff is off limits while the ankle heals i thought i would just hit a chest and triceps tonight.

Ouch, are you sure thatās a only a sprain? When my foot turned those kinds of colors, I had torn off a piece of bone from my ankle.
Pretty sure, ive done it a few times and had xrays, each time when just a sprain it came out like this. Walking around on it all day at work has probably not helped with the bruising and swelling!
Started on that belt squat attachment today. Made the bracket to attach to the rack and made the arm with weight holder, need to finish drilling that tommorow. Im also making a rack mounted leg extention as i refuse to pay big £££ for one!

Nice steady session, put a bit of weight through the ankle and felt fine, sport is off for a while but i think i can get back to squats and deadlifts pretty soon.
Played with the belt squat for a while after session. Feels great, really think i can nail the quads with it. Can put the dip bars above it so can use them for support.
Not logged much since the ankle injury, which is feeling much better, not better for sport but im able to squat and deadlift without any issues.
Switched to a slightly higher volume body part split for the time being until i can get back into the routine i was doing before. Much slower paced sessions.
Current physique in natural lighting, pretty happy with this look and i think the direct ab work is starting to show.
