This.

The ending was awesome, especially the 40 day 40 nights realization/parallel.[/quote]

LOL! Did ya like that??

I was back home putting it all together and suddenly it hit me how he was so spiritual and why did they have to spend 7 weeks out there? I thought I was on to something! I thought I figured out their secret!!

Yea it’s a pretty cool parallel, especially since Kai is one of the most mentally dedicated competitors out there. The fact that they were in such isolation in a city of social sin and indulgence only underscores the power of this documentary.

Why did I feel like I had already watched 50% of the footage in part 3?

Are you psychic?

Hey this guy is cool, but get real people.

We don’t need a Kai-Cult.

If you do make one, some Counter-Cults will form around other BB’ers and the War between the Zombie-Bodybuilders, and Synthol-Mutants will sunder the Earth.

A chunk of that particular segment had been posted on Yotube as an advance clip.

Bump for part 4 being up now.

7 weeks is 49 days, much closer to 50 than 40. I just feel like the documentary is reaching at that point.

So far, that’s my only gripe with the documentary, otherwise it’s pretty awesome!

Bump for part 5 being up now.

Appreciate the heads up.

Definitely the best part. Kai’s “beef” with Branch still standing up at the O was pretty funny.

Agreed. Even when he’s sharing his frustration towards the competition and judging, he remains a class act.

The bodybuilding world should be thankful to have such a well rounded individual primed to dominate the stage for years to come.

Mike - not sure if you could have gotten this and included it or not but one thing I wish you would have gotten is Kai’s first meal after the O. The reason I say this is because I remember a vid on MD with his first meal at IHOP after winning the Austrailian Pro and it was EPIC!

I remember that! Maybe next time!

yeah i would of liked to see what he was eating, it was still great though.

cant wait for part 2.

Kai has left his current magazine and signed w/ a shitty magazine FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFuuck. shitty content wise anyways. smart for him though for the short term. i think he left because why play second wrung to cutler.

Some of you who are unfamiliar with my previous work might want to check out my original bodybuilding series about my brother called Raising the Bar. RTB was my “foot in the door” into this business and is regarded by many to be among the most honest bodybuilding DVDs out there.

Mike,

I just finished watching the Overkill series on bb.com and it was fantastic. Great job!

I really liked the documentary style you choose. I think in today’s world that is a much better format than the traditional sets/reps. In my opinion, the old style is now more suited for internet clips.

You know, Biotest is starting to get into shooting videos more and more…just sayin’

Thanks!

Truth be told, it’s the only way I CAN do it! The only way I want to do it! It’s my style, for good or bad.

Tell Biotest to look me up and we’ll talk!!! LOL!
