Training day.
Pushups (feet on chair): 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5
Deadlift: 8x4 - 55 Kg
Bodyweight Rows (feet on chair) + 10,5 Kg: 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3

Reducing all by 10% was a good decision.

Other stuff: I’ve been trying the hook grip for deads. Couldn’t keep it up all the time, I had to switch back to the regular grip.

Looks like the forum deleted my last post. Yay.

Ok, I’ll try to write it down in a shortened version.

Horrible workout, worse than on 4th.

Pushups (feet on chair): 5, “5” (2/1/1/1), “WTF” (1/1/1 or so? What the fuck?)
Deadlift 57,5: 4, 4, 4, --the end
Bodyweight Rows (feet on chair) + 10,5 Kg: 3, 3, 0

Well. I lack the words to describe this workout.

Actually i can see some similaritys between this one and the workout on 4th. (wich was just as much made of pure fail)

  • Been stressed out because I’ve been going to bed too late.
  • Did my workout less than 2h after getting up. I just don’t have any fuel in the tank when the only thing I’ve been eating before training was breakfast, even if its been a big oatmeal.

Whenever I fail, I don’t got the feeling its because my muscles lack the strenght. I believe its more of a mental thing.
Maybe CNS failure, but maybe just mental weakness. I dont know.

What I know is I’ve got to get my sleep patterns under control. I stay up too late, on the weekends as well as during the week.
On a average week, I sleep maybe 4-5 hours.

During the weekends, I go to bed even later and sleep 10+ hours. This results in the rest of the day getting stressful if I have anything else planned except for lifting.

So, I think what I’m going to do is log my sleep times every day, as its a important part of my recovery - and my recovery is a important part of my training.

Hell, I probably only got the flu in the first place because my immune systems where shut down from lifting every secound day and not even nearly getting enough sleep.

To sum up what I’ve said in the post before (that got eaten by the forum): This logging sleep times thing aparently ain’t working for me.

Dropped yesterdays training (22.11.08) because of a sore throat. Feels like another flu, so I want to give my body the chance to respond now, before it really breaks out, so I’ll get over with it sooner. Last flu cost me about 2 weeks of training time and about 10% strenght. I’m not going to let that happen again.
