I made all my bench and hammer incline reps. Going to raise the weights 5-10 lbs next week. Everything else went OK. Tread mill intervals are killing me. I have been so slacking on the cardio and now my britches are getting tight. So I need to get that under control as well.
Had a follow up appt with the hemorrhoid Doc. He was checking me out after my whooping cough out break. He said I was his first patient in 33 years of practice that coughed up a lung and out a hemorrhoid at the same time. All went well took my finger wave like a man and didn’t feel 2 hands on my shoulder and something up my wazoo at the same time… Nothing like waiting in line for a finger wave!!!

Wilson, I was just churning through the channels and saw an advertisement for “Swamp Loggers”. It, apparently, is a series about the loggers in the North Carolina swamps. Heard anything about it? Anyone you know?
Skip, I’m beginning to think I’m getting all the truths of being 50 at 49. I hope this isnt what Harry is talking about. I have been watching Swamp Loggers. That takes place around Wilmington NC way south of us. Mr Goodson is a heckuva good guy and logger. When he works up north we have gotten some of his wood in times past.

Lat pull down: 3x105x15
Face pull: 2x90x20
Treadmill interval: 10 minutes
Boy am i a dumb ass. For some reason I thought 3 sets of 15 with 185lbs would be easy. WRONG! After that humiliating experience I was glad no one was in that part of the gym so early! Breezed through the rest of the work. As usual the treadmill killed me. TOMORROW I am going to try to do some complexes. It’s not like there is enough in my life to torture me.

I don’t think anyone would have noticed if you had 50# or 250# on the bar for your bent overs. They would probably be trying to figure out what you were doing.
And I can’t think of any upper body exercise where 185# is “easy”.
The good news is there is a 5 a.m. tomorrow morning as well. And you have your priorities straight.

Tried the OH squats on a lark. Actually the bar was set in the top pins on the squat rack, and I was too lazy to reset it. All the weights felt heavy today. I just didn’t have any gas in the tank. I guess those days happen to me more than I’d like them to.

Tried to push a little bit this morning. Krocs and me are going to be a never ending fight. I don’t think my grip issues are ever going away. Everything else went OK. I’m really happy with the workout after a sleepover, ballet recital, signing bank papers, swimming in the brown water river, and cooking bacon wrapped hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. I was good, didn’t drink a beer… Hell in retrospect, no beer is kind of depressing!!
