Woke up this morning and felt my 49th year hit me square in the face! So I rolled over and continued to sleep. I guess I didn’t want to face the first day of my last year in my 40’s. If I keep up like this I’m going to have to change the name of my log back…

Going to do some complexes tomorrow!

Brother Wilson, Happy Birthday! And I smell a goal here. Here’s to going into your 50th year stronger than you have ever been! But you had to get to 49 before you could set that goal :slight_smile:

It’s funny. My Dad turned 60 earlier this month (he was 19 when I was born). I looked at him and thought, “I don’t remember 60 looking so young.” I still wouldn’t want to tangle with him…lol.

Incline bench press: 135x10, 155x8, 175x4
Incline cable fly: 3x50x8
Incline RGCGP: 3x95x14
OH triceps ext: 120x10, 130x8, 150x4
Treadmill interval: 12 minutes

Pretty good day. I found I really needed to be anal about the rest between sets. the first 240x4 was on short rest and I barely made the 4th rep. I did the cgp’s on the incline bench, the smith was taken. They work me more this way but I cant push as much weight because of my gimpy wimpy wrists, so I went for higher reps.

Took the wife out for our 16th anniversary last night. We went to our favorite Italian joint at Va. Beach. Veal Piccatta, Scallops with egg linguine in an olive oil and garlic. Had the daughter with us, for some damn reason she didn’t want to sit in the car. Guess it was a family night.

I was pretty pleased with the training. I was sore Sunday night which is always a good sign. Trying to get the cardio back in. I was planning for complexes today but I slept like crap last night so i rolled over at 4 am for 2 more hours of sack time. Tomorrow is high rep bench assistance day. I’ll try for some sleep tonight.
