I don’t know what I’m really training for other than to make my britches a little bit looser and make myself physically feel better. Hopefully I can get stronger too.
Seems to me, based on the above, you know exactly why your training…and all good reasons!!
Above was done in super sets, with 3 minus of elliptical ‘rest’ between sets. I will raise the weights on all the exercises next time, I don’t feel like I really got the workout I was hoping for.
Off to melt a little bit at work. All I can say is this, 100 degrees beats 50 degrees any day!

Did the super set thing with 3 minutes of cardio between each set as ‘rest’. As the old guy said, “I thought I was gonna damn near die.” I was disappointed in my OHP weight. The bar was just damn heavy today. Guess I shouldn’t have expected so much from myself.
It was a brisk 82 degrees at 4am this morning. Looks like another scortcher in store for us. All I can say is it sure beats winter!

DB flat press: 3x75x10
Decline bench press: 275x5, 275x3, 275x1
Incline Press: 2x135x8 135x4
Above done as a super set with 5 minutes of cardio ‘rest’ between each set. Whooped my ass sure 'nuff!! I bit off a little more than I could chew with my Decline Bench Press. I think next time I may add some exercises to this super set. should have done some push ups and dips. I really wanted to try and train this morning, however a few demons decided to visit and I changed my alarm to a later time at 2: am… Oh well… there is tomorrow.

Cant seem to get any traction in training. Made it in Sunday morning and took to a total body workout. Did the lat pull downs, ohp, and inclines as a super set with 3 minutes of cardio as rest between sets.

Chest work was done in super set with 3 mins of moderate elliptical machine work as ‘rest’ between sets. I bit off way more than i could chew with both the 225 floor presses and the 185 set. finally got some reps in with 135. Need to weigh and establish a baseline. really trying to watch my diet closer.

Did the Krocs elbows out, along with the other movements in a super set. Of course since i enjoy self torture I did 3 minutes of cardo ‘rest’ between super sets. Rest consists of the elliptical on level 3 at bout 50 rpm. Makes me sweat like hell. Hopefully I’m burning some fat. Which is the point, I guess. It damn sure does leave me with my ass dragging out the gym.

Good workout given i was recovering from taking 3 13yo girls shopping and to the water park. I needed to do something so I kinda free formed it and worked a little bit of everything. Spent the rest of Sunday at Lowe’s, and waiting for a long needed rain shower.

Gotta re-dedicate myself to my training, i received some bad cholesterol numbers and triglyceride numbers Friday. Looks like I need to pay way more attention to my diet and really get my nose to the grindstone in the gym.
