I can sympathize. I never showed any allergies until I moved to OK. Now, there are about 2 - 3 weeks out of the year that I am miserable.
Seem like everything hit this week, though. Everyone is suffering from them.
Glad to hear that cough #1 has abated. At least you know the allergy cough will be short lived.
Don’t woory about the Diet Pepsi, I love Diet DR Pepper, which was created in Texas. I was weaned on that. Good looking nunbers, keep up with the supersetting. Your waistline will thank you for it.

OG supersets kill me too. I dont know why I do them.
Skip, Pepsi was first made in New Bern, NC; a couple of hours down the road! I was weaned on that stuff!
I looked that up a few minutes ago. Turns out that RC and Coke are both from GA. We southerners sure do like the sweet stuff.
I forgot to ask earlier…how is your cough? Did it ever fully go away?
Thanks for asking Skip. It’s a lot better. I have had some allergy issues for the first time ever in my life… the whooping cough is gone, replaced by an allergy cough!
Must be some kinda mutated pollen spores from space. First time ever, anywhere in the world, I’m sneezing, eyes are watering up. Took some allergy medicine one day and damn near put myself to sleep at work.
Glad to see you’re back on track. Wife switched me over to diet sodas a couple of years ago (kickin and screamin I might add). Now they’re all I drink. Diet mountain Dew hits the spot.
Skip and Harry, I’m with you! This season was the worse!
Thanks for the confidence Steve, I am still struggling.
UN42, Nothing wrong with ANY drink developed anywhere in the South, diet or otherwise.
Dateline Tuesday 4:22 am Back day

Hammer low rows: 3x55x15
Lat pull down: 2x120x15, 120x12

I had a fairly good morning. I switched the order of the exercises around a bit. Don’t know why… I need to work some cardio back into my training. I’m going to buckle down on that as well as expand my training a bit. Hopefully real progress is around the corner. Who knows with me?!?
My daughter had her spring band concert. She finished the year as she started, first chair flute. It was a lot of fun actually. Now we have ballet recital and voice recital looming large. Plus I we have to get her through EOG testing. She is a nervous wreck during this time. How can a 12 y.o. worry so much about school?
JW’s morning thought: My parents almost lost me as a child, but they didn’t take me far enough into the woods.
Congrats to your daughter on being and holding 1st chair, JW! Shrugs 270x25? My forearms would fall off holding the damn bar long before 25 reps…nice work!

Better, I think the Andromeda strain teenage mutant pollen from hell is about gone. Going to be in the gym at the crack of dawn. When are you guys going to Corolla, NC?

Glad to hear things are getting better.
I am not sure of the trip’s status, right now. My brother had a whack upside the head (read bad tax news) that ate up his beach fund. We are waiting to see if he can make up the difference. For that matter, if we don’t quit visiting doctors, we won’t have any money.
Option 2 is to go to GA and visit Mom and Dad and hit the beach there. Not as pretty, but my youngest has never seen a body of water bigger than a swimming pool.
I should know for certain in a week or so. Of course, by then, I don’t know if anything will be available.
Pretty good training this morning. I got all my reps at the bench. 240x3 and 260 went up easy. I’m pretty happy with that. Pushed myself on all the other exercises. Added the cable fly. It was fun. My britches are getting snug. Going to start back on complexes and treadmill intervals along with a renewed effort in eating clean, should be fun.
Just spent the afternoon putting out 4 yards of mulch in the flower beds. Back day is going to be fun tomorrow!!
JW’s latest comment to the bankers: Okay, okay, I take it back! UnScrew you!
Didn’t excel today in the gym. Left my Ipod at home for starters. I was sore as hell from spreading mulch. It’s obvious I need to do some lower back work! Spent the day finishing ward work between thunderstorms. Now I gotta get some tags for my hawg so I can do some riding.
JW’s morning thought: I never slow down to think; it’s too painful to spend times with my own thoughts.
Blasted through the training this morning. Did the presses with a wide grip. Over estimated the proper weight for the incline press, too much DB work I guess. I should have used about 115# to get the reps. I wish I had more time with the midweek training.
JW’s morning thought: George Washington is the only president who didn’t blame the previous administration for his troubles.
