As you can see from some of my videos I’ve already spray painted several skulls on my rubber mats. I even tried to figure out a way to paint it if my plates as a way of marking my property. I decided it’d be easier to just order some stickers…or do nothing and stop being a nerd lol

No training today. I’m off work tomorrow so I’ll probably do something. I’m leaning towards doing Mondays workout. My grandma died last night and the funeral is Wednesday. It’s a 4 hour drive from my house so Wednesday won’t allow for much training. I’ll probably end up lifting Sunday/Tuesday/Friday this week.
I just re-read what I wrote and it sounds pretty horrible and heartless but we’ve been waiting for her to go. Her heart was weak and she didn’t want to do much. My grandpa died over 10 years ago. Grandma was ready to go and I’m at peace with it. No more pain or discomfort for her.

Today’s training is on hold for now. Today is the worst I’ve felt with this sinus infection. I’m sure the rum didn’t help. I only had 6 ounces spread over three drinks. My stomach is also a bit off. I ate breakfast and couldn’t even finish it. I’m starting to feel better in that aspect but my energy levels are zero…and I’m cold even though I’m sitting by the fireplace.
Good thing I was off work today. I don’t think I’ll be working out. It’d be tough to bear down without incident since I could shit through a screen door right now.
It’s just not my month…or two.

Sorry about your loss man but I’ve felt this same way for several of my family members. When it’s time, it’s time and you just don’t want them to be in pain. My mom was in severe pain for several months and one night I finally told her, “mom, it’s ok to let go. you don’t have to fight it (cancer) anymore.” She passed within the hour.
May Grandma rest in peace and the family remember her with fond memories.

I forgot to mention that I finally had my blood work done again.
Cholesterol: 172 down from 220 in June (ideally <200)
HDL: 42 down from 61 in June (ideally 40-84)
LDL: 117 down from 145 in June (ideally <130)
The only changes I made were to actually pay attention to my cholesterol intake. I tried to keep it to 600 or less each day (300mg is RDA). I stopped eating chicken and stopped eating 6 eggs three days a week.
The Dr said I could affect my cholesterol by about 10% through diet. The goal was to be under 200 and I achieved that. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what happened. My cholesterol was in the 170s last year. I have no idea why it spiked 30 points or why it came back down. I wish I would’ve checked it again when I got my June results. I think it might’ve been a fluke… But I also significantly increased my chicken consumption from last year’s blood work to this year’s.
Maybe it’s the cheap ass chicken.
Edit: my wife says I’ve stopped snoring since I gave up chicken.
For the record, I was buying the refrigerated chicken breast from Sam’s. It was their Member’s Mark brand and cost $1.88-$1.98 per pound. I got to where I was consuming six to 10 lbs per week.

Seriously though. Yeah I will move into new house in Feb sometime (2nd/3rd week) so platform will come sometime after we get the house situated but I’ll definitely take pics and maybe video.
