Looking fantastic! No reason to be disappointed whatsoever.

Another good pose!! Lean!

Alright, posting some side chests right now in my log after a bbq pork + sides and beer splurge out on business. Might be cheating for me though, as it carb’d me up and filled me out.

Woke at 209.6 lbs. Dang, I was hoping to see another drop . I guess you can’t just go around losing a pound a day.

This recent push for 205 lbs has reset my new outlook. I’m keeping my 10 pound window approach but the window has shifted from 210-220 to 205-215.

Fuark J looking awesome man. Keep training keep the healthy food and I’ll bet you’ll be leaner and more muscular by yhe end of the year.

Our resident bodybuilders have rubbed off on me, Mort! I’m going to view muscle gain in terms of ounces instead of pounds. If I can add one or two pounds a year in quality mass then I’ll be 220ish at the same body fat by the time I’m 40. My daughter will be 12-13 years. I could be 221-221 lbs by the time she’s in high school which will have me ready for the boys!

A huge shoutout to @jackolee for inspiring me to continue down this path with his cut. His physique reminded me that lean and conditioned can still look jacked even if the scale shows a lower number than I expected.

Yes J absolutely yes. Gains will be very slow, so ounces is good and the gain a few pounds here and there if it’s been a good week or two and tehn cut back, is the way I’ll go, I have to go even lower than I am right now.

And I’ll second the shoutout to @jackolee as well. Jack you’re very inspiring.

Im so confused by your back and arm tattoos. You a fellow member of the tribe?

The back is a wooden cross drawn by a high school friend. It has Ephesians 2:8 underneath it: Saved by grace…through faith" (abbreviated a bit). My brother also has it.

The right shoulder is a Hebrew phrase. Another close friend got this before heading off to the Marines in 2002. If memory serves correctly it says bittachon. As a matter of fact, this popped up in a quick internet search.

The left shoulder is a big ol American Flag in black and gray with the Thin Blue Line done in color (obviously).

Pretty cool

Best Damn W2 D4

INCLINE BENCH (R/P)
115 x 10
135 x 8
145 x 6
165 x 10-4-3-3

SMITH SQUAT (REHAB)
25 (bar) x 20 x 3
25 x 20 1.5 reps
Feet were way out front so that my hips and knees were basically at 90 degrees in the bottom position. Copied from Paul’s Smith Machine Leg workout article.

SMITH SHOULDER PRESS (mTor)
65 x 8
75 x 8
85 x 8 + 15 sec iso hold at bottom
Last rep/hold is basically a failed rep for as long as I can battle.

OH ROPE EXTENSION (DROP SET)
110 x 13
90 x 8
70 x7
50 x 10
30 x 20
This was planned to be a 350 set. I had logged 100 as my weight last week and I hit my 50 reps. I was done at 13 today. I don’t remember where I did the workout last week so it was probably on a different machine. Oh, well. This crushed my tri’s.

LAT CABLE RAISE (DROP SET)
30 x 5
20 x 10
10 x 15
Supposed to be myo reps. Same as above; last week I used 30 lbs on all sets, but could only get 5 today. I’m pretty sure I trained at the Y last week before work. My delts were still pumped from OHP so I decided to just run another drop set.

CABLE FLY (mTor)
30 x 10
40 x 10
50 x 10
Bonus work!

I really had my mind right today. I haven’t been getting much out of fly’s lately but I locked in my MMC and tried to contract the muscle during the whole movement and it paid off. Delts are smoked. Tri’s are smoked. Pecs are swollen. Life is good!

PT after work tonight.

Last vain selfie for awhile but I went up a cup size today. :laughing

That little guy has become my friend. He’s quite reassuring about my progress. He makes an appearance even when I’m not all pumped and swollen.

Thanks J! Very happy that I’ve helped in some small way with your progress. I myself am not feeling too motivated at the moment. Works been super crazy and just getting time to eat a meal is tough right now.

I’ve gotten 1 workout in this week and after working all weekend I didn’t prep food for the week so nutritions been eggy lame.

Reading this sort of lit a fire though. I gotta get my shit together and get back after it. Gonna make time to get bis and back done today!

Glad I could return the favor a bit! If you’re pressed for time or energy then just go in a crush a few massive drop sets or quadruple rest/pause sets. My rope extensions, lateral raises, and cable fly’s all took less than 7 or 8 minutes today and that little stretch resulted in a massive pump across my upper body.

Once I commit to going and doing it I’ll be fine. It’s the getting away from my desk that’s the issue.

We’re about to start construction on a $350,000 ninja warrior course for kids and we’re getting down to all the little details. Good news is that in like two more weeks things will slow down!
