I had a few hours today where I felt good enough to work out but I never made it to the gym.
I felt worse late in the afternoon and ended up skipping church to go to Immediate Care. I was just hoping for a steroid for all this inflammation but I actually got an antibiotic. Hopefully I feel mostly normal by Monday.
I blew it at dinner. My parents brought cinnamon rolls and I had two. They were store bought but they’re delicious. I could eat the whole tray of six.
Woke at 228.2 lbs. I got up at 5:45, brushed my teeth, and went back to bed. My body aches so over. My DOMS from Friday arrived late and is amplified by being sick. I don’t think my workout was intense enough to cause this type of soreness.
I hate using my sick leave because I don’t have much but I threw in the towel today. I guess I’ll have at least two days off from the gym after eight days straight. That’s too bad; I was starting to enjoy the streak and wanted to keep it going.
I’m back to tracking my food and I’m going to try to hit my goal instead of skipping meals to speed up progress.
To be fair, I live in America. I don’t assume that everyone follows all of our entertainment like it’s the only industry in the world. I’m sure you have your own actors, singers, etc.

He has several movies that are just absurd but Semi Pro is my favorite because it’s merged into basketball. And because he says some brutally honest things that you can’t say (but we all think) in real life.
I already ate broccoli and chicken! My chicken is dark meat too. I hadn’t bought chicken for a month and then I found some seasoned quarters on sale for $1/lb. My 6 oz of chicken was 348 cals due to the extra fat.
I think we have some iceburg lettuce in the fridge to help fill me up.
I adjusted my macros and they’re at 2350 cals, 230ish grams of carbs and protein, and like 58 grams of fat. I didn’t realize how much fat I eat. It’s sneaky.
4:11 and I only have 1100 left for the day. The MyFitnessPal app doesn’t do a good job looking at calories burned from what I can tell so I’m just working at 2500 calories. Which ain’t easy. Pretty sure I was averaging 3500 while maintaining weight.

What’s your average meal size? I guess I’ve just become accustomed to smaller meals more frequently. Every 2-3 hrs around 300 calories and 120 calorie shakes in between
