Just Another Log

Damn man that really sucks! I hope its a long time before I even have to think about doing that!

Hopefully so, but if you’re around long enough, it’ll happen. A few years ago I had to do a few of these. The first few weren’t as bad as the last ones, when I was really having to make hard decisions between very productive, likeable employees. I’ve also had times where I had to decide between cutting hours across the board, or letting go of an individual, to save similar costs. That’s a hard decision. It boils down to ‘do I want to make all my employees pinch their pennies for the foreseeable future until I can put them back on full time, or do I just want to cut one loose completely, and hope he finds a job?’

That’s a tough spot to be in. But thanks for the advice man. Gave me a lot to think about as time passes. Good employees are key though!

Got asked to be a groomsmen in an upcoming wedding. My friend sent me this video saying this is going to the dance we are using for a song. I can dance, but this should be interesting. Luckily I got about 6 months to nail it down lol.

Thanks man. You know what it is. Now I don’t have as much time in the gym. So instead of adding variations of exercises just doing more reps/sets on one seems to be the way to go for me right now. I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about the 531 widowmaker set. Even though I don’t follow 531 I love and do follow a lot of the principles.

But 1x20 on any lift is no joke! I’ve only done them on Squats before today.

Shouldn’t a 405lb squat be easy for you now?

Thanks man! Less exercises but more focus is all it is. Plus eating like a monster. 2000calorie breakfast helps lol

I have no idea man. Not gonna try it yet. Gonna stay with my slow progression. I think my legs can handle a 405 squat. But not sure my abs low back can just yet.

Yeah man with my new work life balance, figure I need to get like 80% calories in the morning because my schedule too unpredictable after 7am. It’s helped me stay consistent even working like 60 hrs a week!

Kudos to you brother! 70 hours is no joke.

You went from squatting 355lbx3 for a PR to 385lbx5 in like a month and a half.
