I could never…I wake up hungry and sometimes on weekends I get up before the wife and have a snack and go back to bed just so I can go back to sleep.
Same here. I eat 2 breakfasts everyday lol
I’m the same man. My first meal is always at 12 (sometimes 10am). But then my 2nd meal is at 3 lol. I personally don’t like eating right in the morning. I don’t mind some fruit or a smoothie though.
I skip breakfast on my low carb days but I have to eat it on my high carb days. I’m supposed to get in 350g of carbs today and if I don’t start early then it won’t happen. I need about 70 g carbs and 45ish g of protein spread over four meals. I enjoy these days since I get to eat more. Today is just an odd day. I’m hungry now but if I eat my second lunch then it’ll be sitting in my stomach when I train.
There’s a Butterfinger Peanut Butter Crisp staring at me though… 100 calories of deliciousness. And simple carbs to use during my workout!
I’ll take 10 please
That sounds like a good morning to me.
I eat my first breakfast at 4:30 most days. Probably eat again by 10, latest. There’s no way I could go until 12 without eating.
I’m usually up between 3am and 4am, and typically don’t eat until 10am. I have zero issue eating as soon as I wake up, I just don’t feel the need to right away. My main issue is not eating so close to whenever I go to bed!
I always love eating before bed. My wife laughs at me because as she gets ready for bed like washing her face and all, I’m in the fridge looking for shit I can snack on real quick haha. Last night I had brie cheese and crackers and a dove ice cream bar. It was amazing LOL.
Man it’s been a minute since I had some brie cheese. That stuff is good.
What cut of lamb meat do you use? What seasonings go well with that? I don’t ever eat lamb. And I thought I remembered you saying something about the fat content/greasiness of it like u had to trim it really well or I could be making that up. Either way, That looks bangin I think I’ll break out the slow cooker.
This explains why you don’t eat breakfast. I read a nutritional textbook earlier this year and it had a lot of common sense stuff in it. If you eat breakfast and then eat your meals at fairly even intervals throughout the day, then you won’t be hungry before bed.
If you eat before bed then you typically don’t feel hungry in the morning.
Remember what book it was?
It’s literally a textbook. I used it for CEU’s for my NSCA certifications.

Suggestions,
- Avocados,
- Olives and olive oil,
- Shredded coconut and coconut oil,
- 90-100% cacao (or cacao nibs),
- Egg yolks,
- Fatty fish (salmon, trout, mackerel),
- Nuts, nut butter, and their oil varieties,
- Grapeseed oil,
- Butter/Ghee.
Edit:
- Seeds! (sunflower and pumpkin are my favourites. Flax is okay too. Grind that shit and put it in your oatmeal)
I just get a leg of lamb and cut it stew size pieces myself. Usually cheaper and taste much better than the random stew meat places give you. Yes when you get leg of lamb depending on the lamb it might have a HUGE piece of fat covering the thing. I trim it off, but then I mix some it back in. The meat is fatty and the edges will have fat anyway. I just don’t like the whole thing in there.
Ahh that makes sense. I’ve been doing food right before bed for like 10+ years so that probably explains why I’m never starving in the morning (unless I take one of those shits thats completely empty out your stomach haha!)
Personally I deload every 8-12 weeks. Just depends on my body is feeling. Usually after 8 weeks of heavy lifting I start feeling the effects from it. This is one way of doing it:

POST WORKOUT MEAL
4 eggs, half sweet potato, green onion garlic (with salt, pepper, cumin), veggie bites. First time eating before 10am in forever lol.
Nice man! Hopefully you had some greens with that too!
For you guys that make Chili, what’s the ratio of beans to meat you use?
I have 3lbs of ground bison. To make enough for 3-4 days of chili how many cups of beans should I be using?
