Hey guys, been lifting seriously for the past year or so. Goals are to lean down from 18-20% body fat to 10-12% body fat while maintaining strength. This is my priority for now.
Current Stats
Squats - 90kg x 10
Overhead Press - 45kg x 6
Deadlift (No bouncing, reset each rep) - 120kg x 8
Bench - 75kg x 10
I have yet to test my 1RM for a long while, got an L5-S1 herniated disc. But lifting slowly and progressing slowly has allowed the pain to dissipate. I have been training with Leangains RPT for the better part of this year.
Estimated 1RM are as follows:
Squat - 115kg
Deadlift - 145kg
Bench - 90Kg
Press - 52.5kg
Current bodyweight: 76kg
Goal body weight after cut: 70/71kg
Program of choice:
Krypteia. Bought the 531 Forever book, loved it. I have always been a big fan of 531.
Chose Krypteia as the overview of the program indicates strength gains whilst leaning down. As long as I keep my diet in check, aim for a deficit of 300-500 calories, I am confident I will witness some weight loss with the way the program is structured.
I will keep this thread updated as I start to train. I am using the Ultimate 531 app on my iPhone and it makes my life so much easier with the different 531 Forever programs.
