Thank you both. Much appreciated. Though the deadlift is my focus, it’s been nice to finally get that bench moving after years of stalls.

Going to attempt to contribute a photo as well.

Edit: Good, giant and blurry, just how I intended.

And FYI I noticed several comments about pic size; for some reason they come out huge on the site. I usually have to open mine up in paint first and scale it down by like 150% or whatever to make it small enough.[/quote]

I think 100 pixels or so across would be a decent size. I shrank mine down to a few hundred across but underestimated how big it was.

Thanks! And I’ll try scaling next time.

The lack of FullHouse physiques indicates a surprising turn for the better

Some seriously impressive physiques in here. The over 30 crowd is showing the youngns what’s up

What assistance do you do for your lats or is that just from rack pulls and deadlifts?

I actually scaled mine down.

… and then uploaded the original.

Crap. So I’m an old guy now? I thought the cutoff was 35.

No. The cutoff is always 1 or 2 years older than where you currently are.

Yep, you’re part of the old guy crew now. Just accept it, you’re one of us now.

Mostly chins and rows. I have two upper body days a week, and on one day I do 200 reps of partial chins where I am working only in the ROM where I feel lat activation. On the second day, I do 5 minutes of as many full ROM chins (multiple variations) as possible, and then throw in another 30 full ROM chins later in the workout.

Right now, since I’m training for a strongman comp, I’ve cut my rowing down to just 5 sets of t-bar rows on one day, but usually in a week I’ll have 1 day where I do a set of 20 kroc rows at the end of a workout and then for another one I’ll do 5 sets of meadows rows. I also do a ton of band pull aparts, which may contribute to it a bit.

Figured I put up a front relaxed pic keeping in line with all the old farts. A bit bigger stronger and softer with a lot more quad. Still battling through injury though.

I know this answer varies for everyone. But where do You feel lat tension the most on chins? Top, middle, or bottom? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the chin variation and my body angle honestly. I can get the feeling all over. When I do 200 partials, I am all over the place.

The Coach I’m working with explained this to me several weeks ago. He got technical with actin myosin overlap and biomechanics. I tuned him out. He’s def a strong solid guy and so are you so I should be more attentive.

Thanks again.

Thanks man. I try not to overthink this stuff whenever possible. I find that in a lot of cases, the solution is just more effort, haha.

Paused narrow grip bench 380x1 yesterday. Smooth, fast and easy.

Duce, I think you should ask your wife for a better rack for christmas.

Nice press, btw.
